Dear Guest, Thank you for staying with us! We're glad you enjoyed the unique decor, peace and quiet and having a pet-friendly place to bring your feathered best friends. (You were actually at our Mountain Lakes location rather than North Shore Resort.) Although we're unable to be in the office for extended periods, we are around both properties 24/7 in...

My wife and I spent a couple of nights at the North Shore Lodge in late August and enjoyed our stay immensely. We'd booked the small "couples cabin" but were upgraded to a larger room next door. Nice touch! The room we ended up with was very comfortable in a homey sort of way. The view of the lake and...

With the water only a few feet from the campfire in our big backyard, we hated to see anyone without a FULL view from their unit, through one of the big windows. We're glad we had the opportunity to move you! There is so much to do here all year round and each season has its own special beauty. We...

We had a great time at the North Shore. The room was cute and comfortable, the lake view increasable. Great place to venture out on to the lake and into the mountains. Hope to return with kids in the near future.

We spent two weeks at North Shore Lodge, August 30 through September 12, and had a wonderful time. We had booked a 1 bedroom, but were told when we checked in, that because we were staying for two weeks, they had upgraded us to a 3 bedroom. The facilities were first class, Edie and Doug were very helpful and very...

Thank you for the wonderful review! We're lucky to be able to welcome people to enjoy 2 very different properties. We're always adding, changing and improving things; This year it was more berries and herbs at Mountain Lakes and a canoe and disc golf set at North Shore. We look forward to surprising guests with new things each time they...

North shore Lodge is the place to stay if you enjoy being rite on the lake, enjoy breathtaking views and feel at ease being in a clean cozy cabin like lodge. Edie is a sweetheart and allowed my wife and I the use of their canoe during our stay which we definitely enjoyed. We will be back and have already...

Was lucky enough to find this place, as we have stayed at only one other place in Grand Lake in the past. As soon as we got into the room and looked out at the lake, it brought me back to growing up in Minnesota, where you would rent a quaint cabin, have a great view and appreciate various parts...

Thanks for staying with us! We're glad you found us, too! We love nothing more than to share this beautiful and property with our guests. The canoe and paddle boat have been a big hit and we are slowly expanding our selection of games. Watch for our e-news (a couple of times a year) where we update our guests on...

We just returned from our visit to RMNP - Estes Park and Grand Lake. We had a nice time in Estes, but if I had known what a wonderful place North Shore Lodge was, I would have stayed our entire time there. And I will definitely plan to come back again. Soon. My wife and I had an EXCELLENT time staying at the North Shore Lodge. It was quiet and relaxing. We saw a couple foxes, tons of hummingbirds, some Osprey and while hiking around Grand Lake we had the opportunity to see 3 moose. Doug and Edie are terrific. We're so glad you were able to stay with us, even if it was several months after you originally planned! We really want people to be able to come (and maybe fall in love with the place)- We allow guests that aren't able to make it (24hrs-30days prior to reservation), to delay their stay rather than cancel. We issue a...
