This roadside lodge across from Grand Lake was a true find. The rooms are large enough and comfortably appointed...with microwave and fridge and most importantly - a clean bathroom! The owners were a delight and extremely helpful. I needed to print a boarding pass for a flight the next day and they let me use the computer and printer (Thanks...

Thank you for your kind words. We hope that your return flight was smooth and look forward to seeing you and your brother back again. We set our cleaning and disinfection standards to those on the CDC website for hospitals. While we are not perfect, we do work hard to provide clean and comfortable accommodations for all who choose to...

Perhaps what stands out most about this lodge is the friendliness of the owners. They take pride in their lodge and sincerely care about their guests. Room number 15 was very cozy yet had plenty of room for the 2 of us. We found the bed a bit too firm for our liking but we slept well nevertheless. The breakfast...

We really enjoyed our recent stay at the Black Bear Lodge. The motel offers a wide variety of room options, all priced very reasonably for the area. Rooms are cozy, clean and offer nice comforts such as high thread count sheets and quality thick cotton bath towels. Continental Breakfast is a special treat, offering home made banana bread, baked good...

The proprietors are fabulous. The rates are reasonable, and the rooms are comfortable. The beds were luxurious, the bathroom was clean, and the rooms were surprisingly spacious. Perfect stopover for a photo-junkie trying to capture the gorgeous fall colors and moose and elk.

Therese and Robert were most accomodating hosts. Very clean room, ample size for 2 with microwave and fridge. Offered a basic continental breakfast also in the room rate, that included everything we needed. Close to west entrance to Rocky Mtn Park.

Thank you for coming to visit us and for your review. While insurance made us remove the stove tops from our rooms, we do have charcoal grills and are looking into providing a gas grill for our guests to use. Our prices will remain competitive and fair. We will always work to provide respectful and attentive service.

Not fancy, but very clean and the owners go out of their way to make sure you have everything you need. They were very accommodating and I would definitely stay here again! We didn't try out the pool or the sauna, but the facilities looked nice.
