Been wanting to visit this pub/restaurant for ages so finally got there last week. We were only dining so I can't comment on the bedrooms nor the breakfast. It was a Thursday evening but the place was humming with diners and we got a very warm welcome from the hosts. Good beer too! The meal was delicious but definitely not...

We stayed on recommendation and it proved an excellent choice for the first of our fortieth wedding anniversary celebrations. The location is in glorious countryside, remote but perfect for a break and easily within reach of Harrogate and more of the Yorkshire dales; a long time since our last visit to this part of Yorkshire and we had forgotten how...

After a lovely walk around the local reservoirs of Swinsty & Fewston, we called in at the Timble Inn for refreshments. Despite our walking boots and casual clothing, the welcome we received was very warm and friendly. Having looked at the menu, we shall definitely return!

This place is lovely, it's out of the way amidst the beautiful North Yorkshire countryside. The staff were friendly and couldn't do enough for us. We arrived at lunch time, we were looking forward to a relaxing afternoon with friends. Unfortunately there are no comfortable, cozy seating areas, so we sat at a table all afternoon this was a bit...

The Timble Inn is not your run of the mill pub with food - it is mainly a restaurant with accommodation & a small seating/ bar area. We booked in for a birthday treat & they made us very welcome with a few extras along the way - even a Timble card! The inn looks lovely outside but inside is...

The staff made our visit and I will continue to visit it is lovely (especially Nathan). However the food though good was just missing something, my starter lacked seasoning and was a little cold. I then had lamb they asked how I would like it cooked, I requested rare, however it came medium to well done, and the jus was...

We stayed 1 night. The bedroom was fine. However, the reception we received on arrival was disappointing to the extent that we were told that the only places to sit were in our bedroom or bar. (There was only one chair in the bedroom). Since returning home we have read that there is a residents lounge. The evening meal was...

We'd never been to Timble before our visit last week and it really was a flying visit, just one night. We arrived mid afternoon so we'd missed lunch but the young man on duty kindly sorted out some cheese and biscuits for us to keep us going and brought them through to the residents lounge which is in a separate...

Thank you Howard L for your review, and yes you are very right to say we are a remote location, but this we feel only adds to a calm relaxing break away. A short drive away and Harrogate awaits, or alternatively visit the beautiful reservoirs for a brisk walk. I look forward to your return visit and please do not...

Attended a wedding party here this weekend- sublime food, lovely drinks and service was faultlessly attentive and friendly. What a treat nestled in the Yorkshire Dales with stunning views. Only a short drive from Otley and Blubberhouses, we even managed to get an uber at 2am!

Thank you Pixie F for your review, and I must concur that it was indeed a most enjoyable event. The planning and thought put in by your hosts Guido and Emily I think hit all the right notes. We even managed a snowy back drop for the wedding pictures. With any luck we will see some of you returning to...

This was our second Christmas here, the last one being two years ago. Since, then, it has changed hands and we were a little worried that it wouldn't be as good as we remembered, but we needn't have worried. Everything was just as it had been and some things were even better. The food was the same very high standard,...

Thank you Pam P for your review, and I am very glad to hear that you enjoyed yourselves on your return visit and that the change of ownership has not altered your opinion. Although we will of course look to build on what we achieved last Christmas I am happy to see you have highlighted some of the areas that...
