This is an older establishment so decor is a bit outdated but it was clean!, maintained well and only has little issues here and there (for example: transition strip edge corner between tile and carpet was sticking up; we moved the table over it to prevent snagged socks). The view of the slopes and the easy walk to ski are the highlights. Underground parking is a huge plus! We had a three bdrm unit. Three couples and two small elementary aged kids. The quad bunk room was tight and the bunks were a bit loose, but the sleeping was fine. Adults in that room needed to have some stuff outside their door but plenty of room there without being in the main area (our little kids kept their suitcases at the end of their bunks). The two queen rooms were comfortable. Each room has a humidifier, box fan and extra pillows in the closet. The bunk room and smaller queen room share the bathroom (tub/shower) that opens onto the dining area. The larger queen room is ensuite with a jetted tub/shower. Very little noise heard from neighboring units. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils. Washer and dryer are full sized (stacked in kitchen). Appliances all worked fine. Coffeemaker has a round basket if you bring filters. Main door is key code so no keys or cards to share. We never could find the ski lockers so kept equipment in the van. BTW lockers at Keystones cost $25/day and parking is equal or less than that so we drove our equipment over early and used the van as our locker! We had little kids who couldn't carry/walk but adults would have no trouble just walking. We walked back to the condo for lunch and resting. Condo is close to other ski rental places, so you don't have to rent at the mountain house if you want lower rates. Overall this is a gem for a memorable trip any time of year.

This is a very modern, well equipped, nicely decorated unit. They could use a little bit more silverware but otherwise, the kitchen was fine. You'll need coffee filters for the coffee pot because the ones there don't fit the coffee pot. The Murphy Bed, which is listed as the 3rd bed, sleeps horrible for adults. It's a bad design where the mattress is split in half by 4". I was able to sleep diagonally so my back wouldn't be as bothered but will rent a blow up mattress next time. The unit was very clean and the management company very nice. You've got a 200 yd walk to the slopes.

Booking was easy. Communication was great. Check-in instructions were provided well in advance. The condo was ready timely. Condo included indoor heated parking! Condo was spacious, well appointed, clean, basic hotel type amenities were very convenient. Fireplace was hot! Kitchen well equipped. OK views of slopes. We walked from condo to Peru Lift in our ski boots. Was a bit challenging, but much easier than trying to move the car for a closer spot. Were able to return to condo for lunch each day while skiing. Highly recommend and I would definitely consider this property for a return visit.

I stayed in Unit 2656 in January 2020. The unit itself, rented via Vacasa, was as expected. I appreciated being able to tour the inside of the unit on the Vacasa website, so I knew in advance that the second bedroom and shower were small. I think you could fit three adults or two adults and two small children in this unit comfortably; any more than that and you would start to bump into each other. I appreciated the humidifier. It was a nice view, we used the washer/dryer, and there were no problems with the wifi. We cooked in the unit and I felt the kitchen was adequately supplied- not always the case. There was decaf and regular coffee, coffee filters, sugar, paper towels, dishwashing detergent, and laundry detergent provided. Tenderfoot Lodge did what we needed. We did not use the common area nor the hot tubs- these were somewhere on the other end up the building up an elevator, I believe. There was plenty of parking underneath the building. Tenderfoot is walking distance from Mountain House Lodge and the Peru Express lift, which will take you to the rest of the mountain. If you use Google Maps in satellite mode, you can see the bridge over the Snake River that you need. It is about a 10-20 minute flat walk depending on who you are or if you have young children- this felt long, but doable. My feet were certainly tender on arrival home. It does not make sense to take a shuttle, because this drops you off at the Hyatt Place Keystone- about the same distance walk. Our experience with Vacasa was mixed. We had very little information from them in advance- we weren’t told how to get to the ski lift, no information about the shuttle, nor where the unit was located within the complex. The unit numbering system is not intuitive and the complex is sprawling, with multiple outdoor elevators and multiple floors, and we wandered around with no idea how to find the unit (if your back is to the road, you need the far left elevator and the third floor). Our garage code did not work, and when we called them to clarify, they gave us a second code that also did not work. It was not immediately obvious that there are separate, locking closets in which you keep your skis, and we only realized this when we noticed the key hanging on the wall several days into the trip. There were conflicting signs posted about what to do with our garbage, and no information about recycling. On the other hand, some of the reviews for other companies are absolutely awful, and we didn’t have those types of problems- the linens were fresh, the unit had been cleaned and we were able to get into it, we had shampoo, etc. Unit 2656: five stars Tenderfoot Lodge: four stars Vacasa: three stars

Overall very nice condo. Location was excellent! Loved that it had a garage. Our particular unit had a few minor issues that needed fixed, but other than that it was good. (The pull out couch was broke, Door was hard to lock. The transition strip from carpet to tile in the kitchen was damaged and needed nailed down.) Unit was stocked fine. Very nice to have humidiers available. Common area was nice.

I will start by saying, this was in the perfect spot for staying in Keystone and being so close to the ski resort area. However, the management was horrible. We were given the wrong key at first (its a 10-15 min drive from lodge to management building). We were supposed to receive 4 keys and we only received 2 which made it extremely difficult to get in and out of our room since we had 4 couples staying there. Half of the lightbulbs were out (not that big of a deal, we got some and changed them.) The hall shower would not drain, the sink's drain stopper was broken and the cold handle was backwards and would barely work. The master shower would not drain either and the humidifier in the room was broken. The Dishwasher would not drain! We could never use it.n Upon arriving to the lodge, the hot tub needed desperate attention, it had not been cleaned or taken care of for a while. There were signs everywhere stating that if we did not have parking passes we would be towed. We never received parking passes. We tried for FOUR DAYS to get ahold of management....calling and emailing. No one EVER would get back with any of us. On check-out I went up to the Management building in person and spoke with a very nice lady at the front desk. She let me write down all of issues we had and told me the boss was in a meeting but would get back with us immediately....two days later, nothing!

Rented a one bedroom condo for five nights. Great location walking distance to Keystone-also to lake shopping area. Good restaurants fun golf courses and great hiking spots. First time for a summer trip but will be doing it again next year. Met the owner Eric. Great guy. The condo was very comfortable. Liked the shower, the bed, and the flat screen tv 's. Fully equipped kitchen.

We loved this condo. It was a great location, plenty of room for everyone, and it was quiet with a great mountain view! We can't wait to go back! Only thing I'd like to see is a more stocked pantry- since we cook at home as much as possible, it's tough to have all the seasonings that you only need a pinch of.

Underground parking, two hot tubs, ski lockers right outside the rooms, 7 minute walk to the mountain house area of keystone (Peru lift), and nice common areas. Some rooms have mountain views some have highway 6 views. Close to the road so can be noisy inside as the walls are thin. Ski storage and rental at the mountain house area really helped. Shuttle service to River Run helpful. Security a concern as the garage door was broken for 24 hours and stayed open! Overall very good place and I would stay again but with a mountain view room.
