If you like quirky, quaint, historic places, you will really like this lodge. It is a bit remote as a summer time destination but the patio and grounds were lovely. The lounges were large and comfy. We enjoyed a roaring fire after a chilly, rainy day. The service was good and the breakfast was fantastic. Our room was a bit... More

DO NOT stay here if you want quiet and serenity! We stayed on a Sunday and Monday night and both nights we were unable to get any sleep due to extremely drunk and noisy parties taking place downstairs. The people managing didn't seem to care and did nothing to reduce the loud talking, laughing and screaming. Payed BIG money for... More

The only question I had when I left after having dinner at the Ski Tip Lodge is "when can I go back again?". We visited our daughter recently and all went to the Ski Tip for dinner. We started with a perfect cocktail in the sunken sitting area in front of the wood fireplace. We were later treated to an... More

My family and I stayed a couple of nights at Ski Tip Lodge prior to moving to a condo in River Run. While I enjoy the walking convenience of River Run condos to the gondola, shops and restaurants, we had a great two nights at Ski Tip. We arrived close to midnight but the front desk made arrangements for a... More

My husband and I planned a weekend away from our children to ski and have fun. We booked through keystone resorts. We were told this was the romantic couples getaway bnb. It was beautiful and rustic and full of history and charm. The staff were helpful and friendly. Our room was cozy and clean. Breakfast was incredible. We opted out... More

After having trouble finding the entrance ,and entering through a little wooden door, I immediately fell in love with this quirky little place.Felt like I was back in a little old Inn somewhere in the French Alpes. Low original old beams.Creeky floors.Yes rooms are small, but fine for us.Very quiet after people left bar around 9.30 pm.Loved the huge fireplace, and the... More

I think we were lucky to secure a room at this small, historic lodge, as we only booked 3-4 weeks in advance during Christmas season. It is just about the coziest place we've ever stayed, all wood, comfy furniture and open fires. The staff were without exception outstanding and completely committed to making it a memorable stay. Yes, the rooms... More

We recently stayed at the Ski Tip Lodge for 3 nights and just as expected it is a small 10 room lodge with the personal feel you'd expect from a small Bed & Breakfast. Everyone was very friendly and helpful and oh boy the 4 course dinner is a must. They have been awarded being one of the top 10... More

We could not have stayed at a better B&B. Would highly recommend this gem for a couples week-end or a family get away. We were there for a small intimate wedding and it was perfect. Love the Ski Tip Lodge, hope to be back one day.

I was looking for something unique, not just a normal hotel. I definitely got that with the Ski Tip Lodge. Close to River Run Village, but not too close. Very quiet, beautiful location. Stayed in the Sunrise room as a couple and it was just what I hoped for. Breakfast in the morning was delicious. We didn't get to enjoy... More
