We stayed in a one bedroom unit on the 4th floor for a family ski trip. We stayed here many years ago and were beyond pleased with our stay so I was happy to book again. This place is run down and no-one to hold accountable. Know that Short Term Housing is regulated by Summit County with ordinances. I hope someone can hold the management, owners, and HOA accountable for very unsafe conditions. Every unit is individually owned and a variety of Management companies 'manage' units. But within the hottub chatter, everyone is having issues from too hot (opening windows = construction noise and dust), Back up of other units into other units sinks (clogged vents?), and fecal or dead who even knows what is causing that bed to smell (caused healthy 19 year old to get sick- not altitude). Broken dishwasher- 'owners need to fix' but has been out of service according to maintenance person for well over a month (how do they sanitizes dishes between guests?) . I feel bad for the owners having the massive neighboring complex that is being built between them and the ski hill that will add years of construction and will block views. The building is hitting its peek of where everything that was new will now break down, HOA must be a total disaster. Little things I would knock down a notch, low or no pool towels, no plastic cups for pool area, walk to gondola is now 2x the walk but not too bad. Typical of newer construction is the design standards that minimize every possible square inch of usable space, if I had to guess, 350sq' 1br condo. There is construction between you and the ski hill, no too bad. It is just hard to witness concrete being poured, temps around 15-38° F with the temp control blankets flapping in the winds and we wonder why buildings/ bridges fall down/fail.

I would NOT rent here again. The building and facilities are fine (except for the parking which is still a problem to find a spot in the underneath garage); however, if you look at google maps, the parking lot between The Springs and the Gondola is now a major construction site as they are building a new high rise there that will soon block the views from the Springs to the ski area and gondola. We could not enjoy our balcony, or the pool, or the hot tub, as the noise from the construction site was so loud that we could not hear ourselves speak. We even heard the noise in our 3rd floor condo unit when the doors to the balcony were closed. The walk with Ski Boots on from the Springs to the Gondola is now considerably longer, as they have the construction site all fenced off. Red Hawk Lodge is now actually a shorter walk to the Gondola, but you would still have some construction noise. Unfortunately, the people that own in The Springs should see considerable depreciation of their property values and rental rates.

Supposed to walk right out to the River Run gondola- NOPE! Massive construction project and you have to walk all the way around and through the village. They said nothing about this which we only discovered after arriving. Terrible. Unit seemed clean but who leaves coffee/ sugar and no filters or way to make it. Couch bed isn’t comfortable. I am going to request a partial refund. Whole reason I booked this place was the proximity to the lift. With 2 kids this makes a huge difference.

With expectations managed, this would have been an ok apartment. We booked this as a last min early season Ski holiday over Thanksgiving. We booked it in Oct 2022. We booked this as it was a 1-2 min walk to the Gondola with 2 young children. At no point when we made the booking by phone were we advised that the car park at Hunki Dori was closed for the construction of the new Kindred Resort. This started on 3 Oct 22 and from press releases looks like it will continue til 2025. Not exactly a Surprise pop up build. It only became apparent on arrival that there was no access to the Gondola apart from walking into town and around. Which completely defeats the reason why a family would choose to stay here if you have young children. The Company advised us that they did not know that there would not be a walkway until the week before... yet did not think to communicate this to customers until they arrived. Yes a path may have opened up on Thanksgiving but again until you walk back from town, the signage still says "No access to Gondola". Apparently the company update their website to advise that this walkway was closed but we have not seen this despite checking several times. And if you want to enjoy a relaxing dip in the pool after some skiing.... I hope you enjoy the sounds of construction vehicles. And to make matters worse, my husband stepped on cold wet poo on the rug in our room as we entered our room for the first time. (ps the insinkerator didn't work, and the colour and staining of the mattresses makes your skin crawl)

I have stayed at this hotel 4 times since the season opened. The rooms are nice and they have the pools open. During my latest stay I wasn’t told the hotel was doing maintenance. The property manger came by and asked if someone could come by at any time to change the locks. I said no I don’t feel comfortable. As a single women I don’t want to be alone with a repairman especially during COVID. The property manager said “no problem” no one will stop by we will do it after your stay. At about 5:30pm I got another knock on the door saying someone was there to change the locks. I said no he couldn’t come in the service was rescheduled. The man refused and started maintenance on the locks. He talked to himself and sang songs. I felt completely unsafe as a women. He didn’t wear a mask and I am afraid of COVID exposure. I tried to call and the women on the phone wouldn’t give me her name or help me in any way. She said she couldn’t transfer me and I have no idea who to contact about this. It is a nice property and I hate to say this but I don’t want any other women to be treated this way and have no one to call.

Great location right by the gondola and very close to the village (1-2 min walk). Kids love the pool and there are 2 hot tubs. Honestly more modern the the River Run village with the pool amenities if you are looking for an outdoor heated pool and hot tub. Our only complaint is that they sold the room as having 2 Queen beds in a 2 bedroom unit. This is not true. The beds are double beds, not queen. This is not the end of the world if you like to snuggle. If you need your space While sleeping, just be aware they have smaller beds than advertised. Otherwise lovely.

We called when we booked during Covid and asked about whether the pools were open- this was a ‘deal beaker’ for us. They assured us that at present time the pools were open. What management didn’t say is that the pool and hot tub has reduced hours during COVID - THE POOL & HOT TUB CLOSES AT 6:00 pm! So with our daily excursions to the outdoors, the kids did not have much pool time, and we could not enjoy the hot tub at night ... very important to us during a Colorado mountain trip. This was extremely disappointing and we feel deceived since we asked specifically about this. IF WE HAD BEEN TOLD THE POOL/HOT TUB HOURS WE WOULD NOT HAVE STAYED HERE. Management should have told us this when we booked. The staff on site told us the reduced hours was due to COVID. Common sense tells us that cleaning could have been arranged after regular hours. I watched them put the covers on the pool and hot tubs- they didn’t do any elaborate cleaning prior to covering them up. Also- neither hot tub was hot. We stayed in room 8844. Needs updating. Carpet worn, dirty. Balcony off family room is tiny. Location very short walk to village... but not much happening there as most stores were closed. Only a few restaurants open for lunch.

Pool, Hot tubs, grill & fire pit open-rate find during COVID19! Loved the access to area trails and our family enjoyed a quiet getaway with great amenities and a cute little deck! Great pool for kids with little water slide, water fall and a zero entry splash pad area for little ones. One hot tub for adults with nice rock barrier that backs to the pool’s waterfall and cuts noise from kids down a bit. Second family hot tub has a decent view to keep an eye on the kids in the pool. Fire out and grill in the same area to cook dinner or roast marshmallows. Close to a trail along the snake river, bike park (closed due to COVID) and gondola (limited weekend hours due to COVID). Underground parking keeps car cool (or warm for winter). Beware indoor amenities for entertainment are currently closed due to COVID as are most area restaurants and keystone entertainment. Dillon Marina, Frisco marina & eateries, shopping are open. Wish the water pressure was better so it didn’t take 45 minutes to fill the jacuzzi and soaking tubs but worthwhile place given all the extras.

Fantastic location with free parking. A few steps from the Gondola and next to the village. Made the evenings easy to walk over for a meal, shopping etc. Only issue we encountered were the hot tubs were not hot at all. Needs to be improved.

This is the 3rd time we stayed at The Springs. This year we were in condo 8806 which is on the same floor as the lobby - the opposite end of the hall from the elevator. It is a one bedroom/one bath premier condo. There is a queen bed and hide-a-bed couch in the living room. There is a flatscreen TV in the LR and bedroom. The pool is great for families with kids. There are 2 hot tubs. I like this set up better than the Lobe Eagle Condo nearby because they only have one hot tub which gets crowded. One complaint is that the hot tub was not hot enough. Ski lockers - there is one for each condo on the P2 level right by the garage entrance. I was not impressed. The locker I had last time included a dryer but the majority of the lockers do not have a dryer. My boots were still wet the next morning. Fitness room - I was disappointed that the treadmill was “out of order” as I am training for a race and was planning on running inside after checking in. Lobby area - Pool table, movie room (nice chairs but only 2 or 3 movies to choose from), play area for younger kids (best for under age 5). Elevators - there are 2 and we never had to wait too long. Walk to gondola - just walk through parking lot to Ski School and River Run Gondola area. Super convenient!
