I spent a night in La Veta at Harding's Corner B&B, and found it to be immaculate. The owner and host, Sara couldn't have been more accommodating and gracious. The house was quiet, the rooms well-apportioned, and close to La Veta's Main Street, and exceptional restaurant - Alys's.

The owner, Sarah Harding, made us feel very welcome. She answered all our tourist questions and called to make dinner reservations for us at Aly's Restaurant across the street. Our room was comfortable with a clean, private bathroom and plenty of linens and toiletries. We even watched a deer nibbling on a tree right outside our bedroom window. Breakfast the...

While I did not get to go ☹️ On this trip the hubs did. He stayed in what is the basement room with a private bath. The room was nice and clean and the shower just fine. Of course he had more to say about the breakfast. The food was very good. A man of few words. I would say...

Ms. Sarah "took us in" when we needed a beautiful, quiet, peaceful place for my Dad's final few days. She quickly became family herself - listening to everyone's sadness and offering wisdom and comfort derived from her own experiences. This was a time I will never, ever forget. Her home is so warm and inviting, all the family members coming...

La Veta is a place for people who love little towns, deer in the yards at night, artists, a place to relax and eat good food, meet interesting people, and watch people while eating an ice cream cone in front of Charlie's Market. Sarah Harding makes you want to sit and talk on the front porch in the evening and...

My husband and I stayed here while I attended a retreat and we had a wonderful time. Our room was comfy and homey and the whole house was nice. We liked drinking coffee in the morning out on the wrap around porch. We loved seeing deer at dusk and dawn, I counted 22. Sara Harding, the owner, is a wonderful...

My girlfriend and I stayed with Ms. Harding last weekend. We had a great time- the room was perfect, the food was great, and our hostess made for excellent company. We will definitely return to La Veta, and we will definitely stay at Harding's Corner when we do.

We stayed there twice already and are getting ready to go a third time. Wouldn't stay anywhere else. Beautiful place, clean, comfortable, and a delicious breakfast. Very relaxing. The price is good also. We got to see a doe with her little twin fawns sleeping on the patio one morning. Adorable! Harding's Corner is hard to find on the internet,...

I recently had the opportunity to stay at Harding's Corner and it was a wonderful experience. The host, Sara Harding, was very hospitable from the beginning and made an excellent breakfast each morning. She was also very helpful in giving us ideas for things to do locally. Not too mention we had deer walking through the front yard each morning!
