We received an upgrade into a larger cabin when we arrived. It served us well as a base for our vacation. The area was quiet and on the river and the beds were comfortable. a short walk to town We would stay here again.

We tend to get in trouble when I just let my husband pick something because it is cheap. This was the dirtiest place I've ever stayed in my life. The sheets had not been cleaned and were stained; there was other people's face oil stains on the pillow cases. Spider webs and cobwebs everywhere, dead flies in a massive web...

Stayed in one of the Texan's cabins for a mountain hiking trip. Cabin was in good shape and well kept. Those staying here for hiking in the mountains and wanting to get up early should be aware that there was no clock or alarm in the cabin and b/c lack of cell service my phone alarm did not work. Luckily...

To be fair, there are some very modern cabins with two bedrooms available. I personally went into two of them and visually was impressed. But that was not my situation as I ended up with another couple in an "upgraded cabin" I believe was built in 1947. The charge was about 190.00. Everything had the markings of a very poor...

For the price we paid, I would have expected at least a decent place with furniture that wasn't ripped and damaged. If you are looking for a hunting or fishing cabin and are happy with a flush toilet, then perhaps this place is for you. We were only staying for one night to do some hiking in the area and...

We have stayed at the Texan several times and always enjoy our visit. We love the location, close to town, and beautiful, with the river running through the property. The manager has worked with us several times to accommodate us even when we wait til the last minute to book. Somehow they always make room for us!

Really nice cabins, some right on the river. Great view of the river and falls. Bedding was a little less than average I'd say. As a bed and breakfast owner, the bedding is one of the most important parts of any stays, keep it up. Other than that, we had a great time in a fun little town.

I have quite a few good things to say about this place. The staff was very friendly at all times. The cabin was perfect. It had everything you would need on your vacation. The kitchen was fully equipped to cook if we wanted to. The cabin was also clean. The cabins had heaters and overall were great. Our only complaint...

We stayed in a cabin right by the river. It was amazing! We enjoyed having the windows open in the evening and listening to the waterfall. The cabin was very clean. I loved all the sweet decorative touches in our cabin. I'm picky about sheets, these were like grandma's fresh clean cozy sheets. The kitchen had absolutely everything we needed...

Firstly, the owners are some of the nicest people I've had a pleasure to meet in Lake City, CO. Secondly, the cabins offered are beautiful and cozy. I was given a tour of the property and was able to see multiple cabins and they were all large, clean, and comfortable. Many places had a waterfall and/or riverfront view. All places...
