I like this location in Loveland. It's close to a lot of restaurants and shopping. It has good access for walking and the hotel is now pet friendly. The room was nice and felt pretty modern for the age of the hotel. The walls were a bit thin so if you had a noisy neighbor, you might hear them. It was better than some hotels however. There were a few oddities that were a little annoying but didn't detract from my stay. The mini-refrigerator had times that it would make a loud buzzing. My room and the hallway near it smelled fine but the main entrance had an odd smell the entire time I was staying here. The wifi connection was problematic because it kept trying to connect me to a neighboring hotel. I'd also add the parking fee is odd. I saw that there was a parking charge. While I don't understand why that is necessary, I wasn't surprised. But it did seem odd to charge me that when at no time I was asked if I had a vehicle. It feels like a gimmick to make prices look lower. If you do not have a vehicle and stay here, be sure to make sure you don't get charged for it.…
I chose this hotel because I’ve stayed here twice before. Staff and breakfast were excellent. $12.00 per night for parking was ridiculous, couldn’t find a spot because people weren’t parking over lines etc! I had to wait for someone to pull out to get a spot. If your gonna charge for parking someone needs to monitor it. We were on the ground floor near the lobby and elevator and around 2:30 am the lobby/hallway got really loud and ice machine was getting used a lot and woke my wife and I up. Pool and hot tub was under a remodel.
Hotel smells of mildew and chlorine. Carpet is dingy, filthy and worn down. Room door has a lot of hallway lights coming through, which means that it’s not very sound proof from noises or privacy. This hotel is in serious need of many updates.
Not the cleanest. Sheets had stains. It was old. Pool looked to dirty to even go in. Toilet was running all the time. Toilet was clogged. Staff wanted us to unclog the toilet and change the dirty sheets.
I arrived at Hampton Inn in Loveland Colorado later in the night and when I walked in, I was greeted by an extremely rude clerk as I entered the hotel. I arrive at my room and I lie down and I soon discover a bug in my bed which I promptly captured and brought to the front desk. I was transferred to a hotel by Aubrey, the night manager, I do believe, and I was accommodated and treated well afterwards.
