A friend of mine and I stayed with sue at the aspen leaf motel and could not have been happier. The rooms were clean and accommodating for two and sue was full of helpful ideas and tips. We will certainly be staying here again.

This is a fine place to stay in this small town. Quaint is definitely the operative word. I was concerned that quaint would mean "no wifi", but thankfully it's here and works superbly! This hotel works great for me. The bed is pretty hard for my taste, but otherwise I like it very much.

I spent eleven days at the Aspen Leaf Motel in Lyons, CO and loved every moment of my stay. The Aspen Leaf had the decor and feel of an antiquated motel with the energy of being home totally accredited to the wonderful and accommodating hostess Sue. The rooms more than adequately provide a great setting for travelers with a kitchenette,...

We spent two nights here, attending a family wedding nearby. It reminded us of the Auto Courts of our childhood. The rooms are set back off the main street so everything gets quite quiet at night. The place was spotless. Sue even hangs her laundry out on the line to dry, what a nice thing to have such fresh sheets...

As already noted....not the Hyatt....but exactly what works for us.....Charming and comfortable....mid century décor....roomy and every comfort you need. Our 2nd stay in 3 months and am completely at peace when we're there. Great location for day trips and plenty of options for dining and shopping within walking distance. I feel as if we have made a friend in Sue...

Feels like home away from home. Quaint, comfortable and economical. Owner, Sue was welcoming, friendly and took care of all our needs. Strictly no-frills, but just a pleasant, quiet place to use as home base for the many, many attractions in the North Central area.

A wonderful place to stay that is quiet, safe, clean and comfortable. The owner, Sue is a great person who makes sure her guests are comfortable and have everything they need. The grounds are beautiful with flowers and greenery and she and I enjoyed talking about the different plants. This is not a place for someone who loves glitz and...

We had such a great experience here. Love the decor and Sue is so nice and hospitable. Super close to everything you could want, and the full kitchen allows for saving money on going out to eat. Will definitely stay here everytime were in Lyons!

I came expecting the room to be furnished in mid-century 1900s style and was not disappointed. From the harvest gold fridge to the aqua bathroom, the formica tabletop in the kitchenette and the metal orange chairs outside, this was just as I remembered much of my childhood. All it needed was a percolator instead of a Mr. Coffee and a...

The Aspen Leaf Motel is the perfect place to stay while visiting Lyons, Colorado. Centrally located near restaurants and coffee shops, it's right across the street from Oskar Blues Grill & Brew. We biked there recently and stayed overnight to bike home the next day. Sue is a charming and gracious host who takes beautiful care of the motel and...

“All the rooms face the same direction and share a common parking area right in front of your room. You can park just a few feet from your front door! The street is so far from the rooms there is no noise (a 25 mph speed limit helps that, too). All rooms are ground-floor. Just tell her how many adults and children you have in your party, and she will do the rest.”
