Stayed here for three nights in July 2016 and had a great trip overall. The location is really convenient to lots of attractions. We did not realize that Manitou springs was a village of aging hippies and funky persons. It was quite an experience. The folks that run this B & B are really welcoming friendly people. Be aware that...

Manitou Springs is a sweet little mountain town with room for everybody. Downtown, you might find a shop filled with the best tie-dye that you've seen since the sixties, but you'll find marvelously stocked wine bars, too. We are as up-scale as you want, or as whimsical as you find amusing - there is niche for anyone here! How do...

We just had our family from Denmark and celebrated grandads 90 birthday at Blue Skies Inn. All three rooms was fantastic and the service and kindness from Sally and Mike was incredible. Showing this place to our family was a once-in-a-lifetime experience for them and they could not have been happier. We use it ourselves for our recreation as often...

We love it when regular guests choose us to be the place for a memorable celebration, too. It was so much fun to meet elderly parents from overseas as well as local children for a 90th birthday party. We'll provide the decorated birthday cake *and* take family portraits as a our gift to the birthday person!

The Inn is beautifully kept, peaceful, relaxing and quiet. With a ten minute walk, you're in the middle of historic Manitou Springs and all of its splendor. With a two minute drive, you can be soaking in cedar hot tubs or enjoying a massage at Sun Water Spa. It's a great spot for a wind down weekend!!

We are happy that our inn contributed to a relaxed, rejuvenating weekend. Whatever the length of stay, we are always happy to recommend activities that suit our guests' interests. Bishop's Castle? We'll draw a great map for you. A place for horseback riding - oh, we know where you can go. Looking for birds? Here's a map of our favorite...

My wife and i returned to the awesome Blue Skies Inn to celebrate our 23rd anniversary. It was the 2nd time we've stayed there. We had such great memories and a wonderful experience on our 1st stay that I couldn't wait to go back. It was even better than I remembered it to be. Can't wait to return!

Ah, anniversary stays - we love them! Sally is a credible photographer, and she is always willing to document your anniversary with photos for you! One of our regular guest couples always stands in the same spot in our garden for their photo, and we find in on facebook shortly thereafter. Happy Anniversary!

We were only able to stay here one night, our last of two weeks in CO, and it was the best place of all. The inn is tucked away in a quiet part of a busy area. The grounds are lovely and our room, Indian Rock Art, was fabulous. The room was spacious and beautifully decorated, and the bathroom was...

Yes, as we say, "we are *serious* about our bathrooms at Blue Skies Inn." At 10' by 12' and fully tiled to the ceiling, our bathrooms holding giant showers and big tubs are a great place to relax after a day of being a tourist or for a romantic stay. Every suite has decorative tile that was hand painted or...

We stayed here before heading to Denver on business. We had the very lovely and quiet Indian Rock Art Suite, which had a lovely and soothing decor. It is also handicapped-friendly, so everything was very easy to navigate. It definitely had a very Southwestern appeal. Breakfast was delivered in a picnic basket by 8 am every morning, with an egg...

We regret that we cannot promise WiFi that will support hours' long business phone conferences, and we were careful that our guest understood that while booking. AT&T does not have many towers in our little valley, but Verizon usually delivers very well. We have never had a guest who could not pick-up his emails. Since we are in the foothills...

We had a marvelous time at the Blue Skies Inn. What impressed me most was how accommodating Sally was! She went out of her way to make things special for the eight couples we brought. Everything! Down to the last detail. I asked for an envelope, and she brought me one with a stamp! I've always said that "the way...

We enjoy group bookings, whatever the occasion. It's fun to post names on every guest's door so they can find other members. Since all of the Blue Skies Inn suites are individually decorated, it's amusing to see the room tours that guests give each other. Our staff was happy to arrange the snacks that were brought for get-togethers. Come back...

We stay in a lot of B&B's, and frequently use Tripadvisor, so we do not understand the great ratings for Blue Skies Inn. The best thing I can say is that the inn refunded our money for night two, and we were able to stay in a beautiful hotel in Manitou Springs. Our biggest problem was the stale cigarette smoke...

In over twenty years of being innkeepers, we've only had five guests with whom we chose to "break up" - that's when we suggest the guest might be happier at another property while refunding the remaining stay. We are kind about it, but it is never taken well. We knew that there would be an online guest complaint of some...

My husband and I stayed here while visiting Pike's Peak and Garden of the Gods. We loved the room and the breakfast delivered right to our door. We also love our deer who bring their fawns by to see us. Sometimes we suspect that momma deer is simply pointing out where the juiciest day lilies bloom, but they are always welcome. One Spring, a fawn birthed here was left by our Carriage House alone for several hours, and we worried all the while, saying, "we can see...

We are always happy to have our past guests visit again, this time for an anniversary for the young couple who had married here. It's so much fun to see our guests' children each year - we always take family photos when asked. Some of our photos have been used as our guests' facebook profile photos for years!
