My husband and my 14 year old daughter and I visited BMR in June 2016. Words cannot describe how welcomed we felt..particularly as we had come all the way from Australia. Each member of our family had different skill levels regarding riding and handling horses however, each one of us was catered for superbly. We had the loveliest wrangler..Haley. She...

When I was reading all the review for BMR before I booked, I was thinking there was NO WAY that this place was as awesome as everyone was saying it was. Well, I was wrong. It was just that awesome. This kind of vacation had always been on my bucket list and if you consider yourself adventurous and an "I'll...

I went to BMR a couple years ago and just fell in love with not only the ranch, but also the people! This was my first solo vacation so making sure it was a friendly, sociable place was really important. Everyone made me feel like part of family. I grew up riding horses and being around barns. I can tell...

Visited Black Mountain Ranch last July with wife and 9 yr old daughter. The ranch catered for all riding abilities from champion rodeo riders to complete novices. Plenty to do for non-riders too and made new friends. I've extensively traveled the world over the last 30 years and Black Mountain Ranch was the best ever vacation - I can't say...

I stayed at Black Mountain from 4 - 11 September in Castle Peak Suite. Black Mountain is everything I thought it would be and more. Fantastic food, staff, horses and views. This was by far the best week of my life and I look forward to coming back next year.

Our group of horsey 7 friends have talked about doing a guest ranch experience for a couple of years. We chose this ranch because of the (all inclusive) unique activities they offered.. plus the adults only week and the fact that max guests were 40 people. We were pampered by the excellent staff, owners and wranglers, fed gourmet meals till we...

Beautiful, comfortable cabin (Spruce #11) ...1st floor bedroom with king size bed; sitting room; fireplace & bathroom ... 2nd floor bedroom with 2 twin beds & bathroom ... Daily house keeping service. Small refrigerator & freezer was very convenient. The ranch owners & staff were ultra accommodating - Best horses & wranglers ever; delicious meals; fun times at the saloon;...

The Black Mountain Ranch provided us with an outstanding, completely satisfying family vacation. There’s a reason why all the TripAdvisor reviews are five stars, and I'm so very happy to add yet another. The website is very well done, providing useful information, including the outline of the week's activities, the promotional video (and outtake video!), and the blog, which reports...

Being a horse farm owner, trainer and riding instructor, I am more than thrilled to say Black Mountain Ranch was more than we expected. Family owned and operated with staff and wranglers that go above and beyond to meet your expectations. It was very clear that we had chose the right ranch on the first day. After meeting the other...
