If sleeping in a cozy cabin instead of a tent sounds delightful, having someone cook breakfast and dinner for you and having a hot shower after hiking in beautiful scenery all day appeals to you, then Trapper's Lake Lodge is the ideal location for your next "camping" trip. I call it credit card camping at it's best. Carol and Holly...

A group of us go to Trappers Lake Lodge in late summer to hike. It is a perfect get-a-way. The food is delicious, Holly and Carol work hard to make sure everything is clean and comfortable. The lodge is in a beautiful setting and there are many hiking opportunities for most any level hiker, minutes away. I am looking forward...

This resort is a great getaway in the Flat Top mountains near Steamboat Springs, CO. The staff is wonderful, food delicious, and the log cabin accommodations are charming and very comfortable. Just out the door of your cabin majestic views abound, and mountain trails lead to beautiful lakes. My friends and I visit every year, and have never been disappointed!

Outstanding wrangling services and experience. There was lots of rain and snow when I was in the backcountry and their drop camp services were flexible and professional. Pack-in and pack-out was flawless. Great food and accommodations. I keep coming back to Trappers Lake Lodge for good reason.

We visited the Trappers Lake Lodge before and after our horse packing trip into the Flat Tops Wilderness. The owner was most accommodating, and the food in the lodge restaurant was delightful. Facilities are clean, and the service was personal. If you are looking for a rustic experience, conveniently located in the midst of the wilderness of the Rocky Mountains,...

Our daughter selected Trapper's Lake Lodge for the site of her wedding celebration largely due to the wilderness access, proximity to NW Colorado, and the care Holly (owner/operator) took in providing options for planning our event. The demanding expectations of our @50 member group -- celebration dinner, cabin selection, campfire location--not only were met, but left me (Dad) still smiling...

I didn't stay here, in fact I was in the nearby campground, but I locked my keys in my car. With no cell phone service out here, going to the lodge was the best bet to avoid driving 30 miles back to Meeker. Well, the ladies at the lodge were so sympathetic, and one of them came to my campsite...

Just attended a wedding at Trappers - what a great place. I can't say one bad thing about Trappers. Cabins, food, staff, fishing, the horse ride we took - EXCELLENT. And I have never slept better in my life. I will return as many times a year as I can. Thank you Holly and Carol for making my friends wedding...

I'll start off by saying this: If you want the amenities of a city hotel, stay at a city hotel. Trapper's Lake Lodge is a rustic, back-to-basics facility whose purpose is to offer ample opportunity for outdoor recreation, comfortable back-country lodging, friendly service and decent food that is not only worlds away from but is far better than the usual...

“There was a big forest fire here in 2002 or 3 and all the trees are dead. They tell me this has improved the hunting because there is more forage and its easier to see.”
