My partner and I were tipped off about this place by some neighbors. All I can say is that no words or photos can describe the beauty of Valley View. It is a true oasis away from the societal norms of everyday life. Be sure to read the website well to understand the reservation procedures and camp rules. They DO...

These hot springs are located in a great spot overlooking the San Juan valley. Spectacular sunsets included! The looks are nice, very natural and nicely distributed over the property with a few minutes of walk from one to another. The water temperatures range from about 88 to 95 or so with the exception of one small pool that's heated up...

This is an excellent place to come visit and relax! So many natural hot spring pools ranging from warm to super hot. We stayed in a shared cabin with other visitors which was not modern. Clothing is optional here and there were many that were nude at this property. Prices are decent for overnight lodging.

I visit valley View Hot spring once a year for the past 6 years. The staff is pleasant and location is prime. The San Luis Valley is beautiful and you get nice views from the soaking Ponds. My favorite is the pool!!! Nothing like a naked back flip off the diving board into the pool at night under a meteor...

Went for the day. Paid a fee and was explained the grounds and rules. The views were fantastic and remarkable. The clothing optional was not an issue. there are snacks you can buy, but bring a towel because they normally do not provide. We wished we had camping gear to camp, but did not. Next time we plan on staying...

I am rarely impressed by most hot springs due to layout of the grounds, noise, overcrowding and other aspects. I am, however, greatly impressed with Valley View Hot Springs. It offers almost everything a Colorado camper could need. It is family friendly; it is quietly busy and offers opportunities for socialization or solitude. The hot springs are fairly easily accessed...

Great! Great natural hot springs, and clothing optional is a plus. Smoking is only allowed at the smoking hut, but Marijuana smoking is allowed. This place is my favorite to visit on vacation in Co. If you like to naked and enjoy nature this is the place to visit.

This is no longer a Hot Springs! Something has changed, and now the water is around 97 degrees: nice for daytime soaking (on a warm day). They have to electrically heat the water for the two newest tubs (wonderful rock work) to only 104, which get crowded (and lots of beer drinking). The camping is delightful, but when we rented...

The waterfall pool was lovely and not crowded. Top pools were heavily used. Be ready for a short steep climb to the top pools but the view was wonderful! All kinds of naked people walking around and so ubiquitous that it wasn't a problem at all. If you want to wear a swimsuit you'll feel fine doing that too.

Valley View Hot Springs has become Orient Land Trust, a nature preserve supported by camping fees. There are several pools of natural hot water for soaking and partying. Clothing optional on the grounds and in the pools. Community kitchen facilities. Sauna. Rooms for rent. deer wandering about among the campers. A joyous restful Colorado vacation.
