We stayed at this B&B in March if 2017. What a treasure!!! Such a beautiful home in the middle of the Colorado Rocky's. Chuck and Sharon make their guests feel welcome right away with adventures in the backcountry and tales of triumph at the breakfast table. There is no B&B in Colorado to match this gem's hospitality and rustic, cozy...

One of the nicer and unique bed and breakfasts we have stayed at. It is a relatively new structure built in an old mining town. Chuck and Sharon are wonderful hosts and the old ghost town of St Elmo is worth the visit. At night, you have the town almost to yourself. In mid September the aspen trees were gorgeous....

My husband and I stayed two nights with Sharon and Chuck at their amazing home/outpost/getaway/hidden gem. This was our first time there, and we hope it won't be our last. We own a B&B ourselves, and Sharon and Chuck's amount of dedication and attention to the details of their guests' stay is utterly remarkable. The fact that supper and a...

We stayed here for our First Anniversary. We enjoyed our time and getting to know Sharon and Chuck. The food was incredible, and the House felt like home. Can't wait to go back, and someday bring the whole family to stay!

This lovely hideaway was the perfect place to take a real break from day to day living. We enjoyed a family gathering with eight of us meeting up for the weekend there. We felt like we were visiting with long lost family members as the owners treated us like family providing gracefully for our every need including dairy free vegetarian...

My wife and I just returned from a wonderful stay. The B&B is in the great, historical location of an old mining town in the rugged beauty of Colorado; gorgeous and spacious inn with delightful rooms and cozy common areas; wonderful food (dinner AND breakfast ... making it a great bargain) and simply warm and inviting hosts Sharon and Chuck...

We spent two nights at this wonderful bed and breakfast. Sharon and Chuck are so gracious and very interactive with the guests. We loved the atmosphere and the love they have put into this tremendous home. We appreciate the grace said together at meals, which by the way are awesome. This is a bed and breakfast where you can just...

The Ghost Town Guesthouse is our favorite mountain retreat. There isn't anything that can be improved. Chuck and Sharon have built (by hand) a beautiful bed, breakfast and more. Not only do you receive a gourmet breakfast with your stay, they also include supper. Sharon is a whiz in the kitchen and Chuck is always happy to help. I never...

Lovely, meticulous home run by very efficient and friendly owners that make you feel like you are at home. They are very attentive but give plenty of privacy as well. Loved all the advice on 'private' hiking trails and history of the area. With only several year-round residents in town, it is very quiet at night. The daytime gets a...

“Can't go wrong with the rooms here.”
Ditzyleopard, 8 Jul 2015 | Read review
“We stayed in the Mary Murphy room on the back side, the one with the 6ft. tub. We could see the full moon rising above the mountains through our window. Breathtaking! Our friends stayed in the front room that had a tub and separate shower. All rooms are equally lovely and really quiet since there is NO ONE else in town at night.”
