Thus spoke Confucius about 500 B.C. It's still true. The Beaumont Hotel is a typical confirmation: read my previous review of this hotel to find out the juicy story behind the abandonment and then restoration and revival of the Beaumont. I fell in love with it the first time I saw it, about ten years ago. Everything is just right... More

The room was very clean, amazingly comfortable and furnished with beautiful period furniture.. The staff was informative and very helpful. I review lots of hotels as we travel a great deal. The Beaumont Hotel is a shining example of how to do things right and well. The hotel has old world charm and luxury. The main doors are inset with lovely stained glass and the lobby is impressive with a grand staircase. Earlier in the evening, the hotel clerk had... More

We stopped over for a night on a recent road trip through southern Colorado. The Beaumont is a lovely property. Our room was a suite on the top floor facing the street. The room was very comfortable and the bathroom was enormous. The staff were very friendly and helpful. There are certainly less expensive options in town, but nothing with... More

Arrived on a bicycle tour with our 7000 dollar bikes. Male receptionist offered to lock bikes in closet, husband stated he prefer to keep his bike in the room stating he would be careful with bike and room. While arriving with second bike the owner came running into the hallway and stated bikes can not be in rooms as things... More

We have been to the Beaumont on two occasions, and recently sent our granddaughter and her husband there for their wedding night and the following night. Their opinion of this facility was "amazing". They just kept telling us how "amazing" it was. And we agree. It is, without a doubt, worth the money to stay at the Beaumont.

We travel a lot and this is one of our favorite hotels. Step back into the late 1800s in style! The hotel is impeccably maintained and the rooms are spotless. The service is excellent and the town of Ouray is gateway to the incredible Million Dollar Highway. The only recommendation we have is that the hotel improve its breakfast.

I'm not sure what to say other than "Wow!". From the first greeting to checkout, our experience was amazing. We stayed 3 days in the Hoover room and included a couples massage and private hot tub/sauna time. The friendly staff is professional, courteous and always ready to assist in any way they can. They also provided some great restaurant suggestions... More

This old hotel has been lovingly and beautifully restored. The front doors with the stained glass were so beautiful, the lobby was atrium style so lots of light flooded the space. Every spacious room feels very luxe. The place was very clean, the beds were very comfortable and the bathrooms were really spacious. There was a heater in the bathroom... More

We had our wedding and reception at The Beaumont and it was absolutely beautiful and stunning. The courtyard and ballroom and hotel is beautiful. The courtyard is gorgeous with the beautiful flowers and the views of the cascade falls. Jen and Chad were fantastic to work with and had every detail exactly as I had envisioned. The rooms are exquisite... More
