Lovely hotel. The room was comfortable, the facilities good. This elderly couple from England stayed in 2 weeks in Colorado: this was the only place that had hot water to make good cup of tea! Breakfast adequate.

The recently renovated hotel in the heart of Ouray is a peaceful place to stay. The staff gave us a warm welcome and were very helpful. Patrick and Patty, the owners, are hard at work to keep updating this historic building. We enjoyed our room, #9, it was quiet and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom is adequate with...

Thank you very much for taking the time to review Hotel Ouray. Patrick and I are always looking forward to the next project and last winter season we were able to add the Lobby, which is so nice to have and this winter we are looking at the start of bathroom renovation. Stay tuned, Patrick does amazing work and has...

This is an independently owned vintage hotel that has been upgraded for comfort. My sister and I stayed in Rm #7 so that we each had a bed. It was a suite. Four windows in the room overlooked Main street. It was comfortable in every way with the exception that the bathroom was narrow only allowing one in the room...

Dear Nancy, So glad you and your sister enjoyed your stay with us. Yes, the bathroom in #7 is small but we look forward to our upgrades coming this winter. We will be redoing each and every bathroom as time permits. We love Ouray and it is always a pleasure when we hear our guests do as well. We hope...

Me and 7 buddies planned a motox trip through the San Juan Mountains and booked this hotel for a one night stay as we were hitting 3 different towns in 3 nights. I called and talked to Patti, the owner, who was the nicest ladies in the world! She and her husband visited Ouray on a trip 20 years ago...

This was our fourth visit to the former "Ouray Hotel" in the last 15 years. It is a little cleaner and the furnishings are a little nicer now. The modern window inserts work well and the king bed was very comfortable. The bathroom is large enough, but the sink was very low and very little counter or shelf area. Room...

Due to it being peak season and the FJ cruiser summit adding additional demand for the latter half of our week in Ouray, lodging was tough to come by and we had to stay in three different places during our stay. Hotel Ouray was not only the best lodging experience, the value was excellent as well. We stayed in room...

Hotel Ouray is small, and the character is excellent. Request a room with an outside window (you can get a layout on the website). The hotel is a former office building for attorneys, and the funky layout makes sense once you realize this. We had Suite #10 and loved the large windows overlooking the street and the brewery. Check in...
