The customer service was absolutely awful. They were always looking for ways to charge us more. Never accommodating. We were told that the restaurant would be open - was not, thus making our stay more of a trek towards the town everyday. Further lack of communication was with our stay in that we wanted to stay in a lodge, NOT... More

We stayed in 2 bedroom cabin over the Fourth of July. It was great having a full bathroom, refrigerator, coffee pot. We are used to tent camping and had decided to try a cabin this time. We had privacy to relax in the mountains, and yet, could walk a little ways to the nearby restaurant when we didn't feel like... More

Not the place to go for rest! Walls so thin we could hear older couple's digestive issues on 1 side, crying baby on other side, and sleep apnea at end of row. There are even signs that warn of thin walls. When we asked for new room, the employee reprimanded us. Sat down for breakfast after 2 hours of sleep... More

Stayed at the resort last weekend; beautiful grounds, a fishing pond, Frisbee golf and playground for the kids. Then as evening came, we smelled an odor on our balcony. It was pot! The people below were smoking. When we complained, we were told it's legal in Colorado. The guests proceeded to move indoors to smoke, which then carried up into... More

Staff is helpful and caring. Cell service worked for everyone. Slower internet for some people. TV reception good. Rooms clean, rustic, remote, restaurant was good, gift shop had small items not too expensive. Event room was nice and staff was helpful. Catered food was good. Very beautiful setting quiet. Horseback riding and fishing available not able to use due to... More

The resort is beautiful and the folks were very nice. Upon going to sleep that night, we noticed the sheets, pillows and overall bedding smelled like strong body odor. Ugh! The odor was so strong that it literally would wake me up. Luckily, I always travel with my own pillow and had a spare blanket in my car to use.... More

My husband brought me here for my 40th birthday. He contacted the stables, spoke with Clara and booked a 1.5 hour horse ride. It was wonderful ! Just the 2 of us with Clara and her apprentice on really well behaved horses, strolling through pristine wilderness...I couldn't have asked for a better birthday gift ! We went to the restaurant... We stayed at Beaver Meadows Resort when I was working photographing a wedding. The location is beautiful, tranquil and perfect for a mountain wedding. Our room was simple but clean. The locale is awesome for a wedding - I got so many amazing images of the bride and groom. Off the beaten path, a great get away!

I went to this resort for my cousins wedding and the service was horrible. The people working there didn't clean the rooms before we got There. They didn't bring more towels or anything even after we asked. And for my cousins wedding the wedding planner didn't even help set anything up. We did all of it ourselfs. OVER ALL IT... More

My husband and I were married here back in March and I could not have asked for a better venue or more accommodating staff. I was blown away by how easy all of Beaver Meadows' staff were to work with and how pleasant they all were during every interaction. From the tasting event to the accommodations and, of course, the... More
