Last minute booked a room here when friends couldn’t make weekend ski trip. The place is spacious and clean. Private room. Met some interesting people. Great location near ski resorts and highway. Thanks Chris.

I stayed in the dorm/bunk room, as I was looking for something cheap, and would allow me to meet new people. I can't comment on the private rooms. Upon "check-in" I found an envelope with instructions telling me everything I needed to know on arrival. Took a nice hot shower in the private bathroom, just outside of the dorm room. The (two!) lounge areas and pool table were beyond fantastic. The bunk bed was comfortable enough, and an excellent free breakfast in the morning was the cherry on top. Price was better than everywhere else in town too... I never actually ran into the owner (or anyone who worked there), but from what i hear (and how everything was handled despite him not being there), he is a fantastic guy. 5 minute walk to the Baker's Brewery, which has great beer and food. The owner is really cool. Would stay again without hesitation! Note that I also stayed one night at the Riverside Lodge/Hostel, which was nearly double the price and was awful.

Clean and comfy, great stay and will be coming back. Pool table and two lounge areas with leather couches. Nice simple breakfast to start the day out if you’re hiking or skiing and great coffee. Everything was as described

I spent the night in a private room with shared common area. Everything was nice and clean and comfortable. The owner was nice enough to let me store my stuff for the day when I popped in early morning too! Coffee and light breakfast included. Oh, and Bodhi the dog is there to share his good vibes and wisdom!

I stayed here a couple nights with my buddies a year or so ago. We absolutely loved it, especially because it wasn'y the typical hotel experience. As the other reviews seemed to mention, we felt very at home and comfortable during our stay. There is an INCREDIBLE deck-view of the beautiful mountains, and not to mention the cozy hot tub outside. We woke up to warm breakfast and coffee in the kitchen area, and we couldn't of been more satisfied. I asked Chris why he started renting out his house and providing an awesome place for people to stay, he replied with something along the lines of "I wanted to help people...." That statement alone spoke volumes to us about Chris and the character of him and his place. Do not hesitate, trust me!
