Good place to spend the night instead of camping. Clean but no frills. The manager and owner both live there and are very helpful and friendly. Many customers are folks hiking the Colorado Trail or the Continental Divide Trail and stop at the Blair Street Hostel for a break of a day or two. (This used to be the Silverton... More

Jan was a terrific host. As an owner/operator Jan goes out of her way to make sure you are comfortable. This is by far the most affordable lodging in Silverton. If you don't mind sharing one of three bathrooms and one of three showers, you will stay on a shoestring budget. Value for the money cant be beat! Best kept... More

We got the last 3 beds in Silverton on a Friday night. Staff were very helpful. Very friendly. Rates were cheap. Slept in Dorm and it was fine. Very quiet. And the $5 shuttle to the Colorado Trailhead was a steal. Oh and showers... hot showers!

In July AC would be nice. One window, no screens. On the ground floor this should be a concern for many because insects are free to come and go and raises security issues.Otherwise, it was sufficient.

It's the best hostel in Silverton because it is the only hostel in Silverton! I have stayed there twice and enjoyed both stays. I was there for only a bed and a hot shower and the Blair Street Hostel delivered. The hostel is in an old house with signs of wear and tear. But hay I was there for only... More

I am pouring heart and soul into this place to clean it up. I would love to hear what improvements you recomend. How can I better serve those who come after... More

This is a mixed review as my wife and I had very different opinions. For me, I had a private room and saved eighty bucks a night. It was clean, the shower was hot. No bugs. It was a little loud, you are able to hear anything going on in the next room, even average talking. So bring or download... More

I luv this place. RIght on the bike version of the Colorado trail & a easy hitchhike from the Hwy crossing for hikers that get to do the wilderness portion of the trail. Beside the usual hostel attributes they also have a washing machine & dryer. Tent camping & bike parking out back. the Avlanch bar & grill 2 doors... More

Arrive late at Molas Pass on the CT, called Jan at the Blair Street Hostel, and she immediately dropped everything to pick me up. Both the shared and single rooms I used at the hostel were fine and with laundry and cooking facilities available on site, the hostel offers everything a tired through-hiker could wish for.

The bloke that wrote the most recent review was the biker that threatened me at 6 am with a knife. The owners kept my fee after kicking me out because they were friends with the angry biker. I do appreciate that the male owner was the nicer of the two but I felt no matter what I did the matriarch... More

Blair Street Hostel is just what it claims to be a hostel. It served us well on our journey through Colorado. It has the right atmosphere at the right price. Shared kitchen and bathroom, all clean and functional. The dorm room was warm, which was a pleasant surprise, considering there was still snow outside and overnight temperature dropped below freezing.... More
