Arrived in Steamboat in late February and were greeted by some of the most comfortable and cozy accommodations. The interior is very tastefully decorated and afforded us the chance to unwind and relax after our drive. We slept very deeply and woke to the sound of Dani making a delicious breakfast the next morning. She even asked if we had...

We chose Mariposa Lodge for what started as a romantic Valentine's Day weekend - until we discovered that it was also President's Day weekend! Not to worry, the boys came with us. Dani is a perfectly gracious host and offered an air bed for the boys in the sitting room, which worked out perfectly. The B&B is quaint, very comfortable...

My husband and I went to Steamboat for a weekend getaway and enjoyed a very relaxing time at the Mariposa! It was very quiet and clean! The bed was really comfortable! The breakfasts were amazing - she made the best apple muffins! I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet mountain getaway weekend!

We went her for our fifth anniversary. It's at the end of a road that has a nice view if you're sitting on the front porch. The owner lives next door so the feel is more of a small inn then a true bed and breakfast where the owners live on the premises. There were two wonderful ladies that come...

Inside the sunroom lets in so much light. Breakfast was great every day. We stayed in the Monarch room, highly recommend this room. Nice log pole...

Dani and Annie made our 3 nights there a wonderful experience, and their breakfasts really started our days off right. Mariposa's setting was the right combo of close to town, but in a setting that let us enjoy the nighttime stars and the local fox's fluffy tail as it sniffed around outside near the creek just before breakfast. Good rooms...

We spent Friday and Saturday nights at the Mariposa -- our first stay there -- in connection with a long-weekend getaway we'd planned back in July. Our plans also included eating at a favorite restaurant (Mahogany Ridge) and trying a new one, to us, anyway (Three Peaks Grill). The highlight of our long weekend was a hike up Hahns Peak,...

The room was nice, breakfasts were great and the staff was very helpful in suggesting fun activities. It was a great get-away for my wife and me. While we didn't, but if you just want to rock on the porch you can do that too.

My wife and I were pleased to arrive at the lodge and find it relatively secluded (away from the town bustle), clean and cozy. Dani, the owner, was not there when we arrived, but she left a note welcoming us and giving us direction to our room. We formally met Dani the next morning, as she busied herself making us...
