This is A beautiful historic house turned bed & breakfast. The personal attention paid to each guest was much more pleasant than a hotel environment. The room was clean, comfortable & well furnished. The previous reviews of the delicious breakfast served proved absolutely correct!! And, the breakfast with the other guests was fun & informative!!

We were staying at the Inn Friday through Sunday in February which I typically had great weather. We decided to get away and check out Trinadad and found the Terrabino Inn. We stayed in the Walnut room, which is more of a suite and it was wonderful. The bed was luxurious and comfortable without signs of wear. We knew our...

My partner and I have often stopped in Trinidad on the way to Denver and have been charmed by the city built on a hillside. Trinidad was a booming coal mining town at the turn of the last century, and is rich in history, charming Victorian like homes, some good restaurants. We went on line and found Tarabino Inn. Even...

If you plan to overnight in Trinidad, the Tarabino Inn will provide a clean, comfortable room with lots of historical eye candy in this lovely large Victorian home. We stayed in the Walnut Suite, second floor, spacious and all amenities provided. We do have to add this, though. A first for us.....we were greeted with a sign on the door...

Thanks for the review, and we're glad you found the inn clean, comfortable, and lovely. We were inspired to change the sign that is to the left of the door to remind people of our 4:00 P.M. check-in time because guests routinely disregard the time about which they are informed when making the reservation, and again on our confirmation letters....

Great location off the main part of town so nice and quiet yet close enough to get to all the restaurants and sights without having to drive. We were upstairs and always a challenge getting suitcases up twisty, narrow stairs but we made it. Room was average but a comfortable bed. Wasn't fond of only one breakfast option although the...

Thanks for the feedback, Sammy. Sorry you were not pleased with the set menu (though I agree our pancakes are good - usually blueberry blue corn or buckwheat). With a small inn and low volume kitchen we keep a limited amount of food stocked, so instead of offering options, we always ask guests about dietary restrictions to insure we do...

Stayed three nights in the Walnut Suite and loved the spaciousness room, comfortable bed and fantastic views. The breakfasts were yummy and different each morning. The b and b is very convenient for the museums and downtown eaterys, but in a really quiet neighbourhood. If you are in Trinidad this is absolutely the place to stay.

Lovely old house built in first years of the 20th century - spacious rooms, beautiful woodwork. We stayed in the Walnut Suite - lots of room, very comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was delicious French toast with bacon and fresh fruit, plus orange juice and coffee/tea. Walked downtown for dinner at Mission at The Bell, which was excellent. All in all,...

Originally a private home built in the early 1900's now a B & B. Large spacious rooms with antique furniture. Large bathrooms that are modern in some amenities but retain the character of the house. Breakfast is served at 8 AM. Fresh fruit, crisp bacon, buckwheat buttermilk blueberry pancakes, plenty of great coffee, and juice was the fare of the...

My husband and I spent one night here to break up our drive between Durango and Houston. We arrived a little before 4:00 - the stated check-in time - and noticed there was a sign posted saying not to enter before 4:00. We had a good bit of luggage to manage with steep steps leading up to the inn so...

Thank you for the feedback. Though we did let this guest in before our posted check-in time and thus were not particularly strict about it, it is worth noting that we inform guests of the 4:00 P.M. check-in time on the phone when the reservation is made, again on the email confirmation letter, and once again on a sign next...

My husband was working in Trinidad over our anniversary so I looked for some place special. I found the Tarabino Inn and decided to take a chance.
