This was our second trip to the Vail Cascade--this time, we stayed in a condo with our three kids. It was absolutely beautiful, comfortable and well-equipped. It couldn't have been more relaxing. We stayed in Coldstream 43, which had a bunk bed that had one twin and one full (perfect for our children).

We got quite a good deal in the off season (Sept) through Travelocity as one of its 'secret hotel' offers, so I was naturally skeptical. I shouldnt have been. While this resort might show its age on the outside compared to some of the newer and I'm certain MUCH more expensive options in Vail, it stands on its own merit...

Vail Cascade is truly a resort relative to many of the other Vail options. It has a lovely setting for its pool and hottub overlooking the river. Our room with windows open, enjoyed the loud rushing sound of the river! The bar area is very Colorado with a roaring fire and large picture windows overlooking the mountain. The staff is...

Dear Susan, Thank you for your business Susan! We are grateful that you had you lovely time while visiting and enjoyed the rooms, location and the staff. Thanks for your feedback pertaining to the pool. With many families visiting during the summer, the pool becomes a favorite gathering place, especially for children, and we know they can be noisy. I really wanted to like this property. The location is lovely, situated right along Gore Creek and though we stayed in the summer the access to its own ski lift during ski season is a big plus. I liked being away from the hustle and bustle of Vail and Lionshead Villages, yet close enough that the restaurants and shops are...

We found Vail Cascade to be an above average (larger) resort hotel with excellent staff. Wish I remembered the name of the young man who was the valet, he was so professional and friendly and said hello EVERY time we walked by. This is the mark of excellently trained staff who make guests feel welcome. A big plus for Vail...

Beautiful room overlooking the river with great access to the local walking path. Experience the river right outside your doorstep! Room ammenities and decor were comfortable and at the level one would expect in Vail. Outdoor pools and hottubs were well maintained and had a unique decor about them.
