Great find! Maybe a little updating is in order but other than that, this hotel is definitely worth the stay. Can't beat the location, especially at the price. Shuttle stops right behind the building, or just walk two minutes to Lionshead Village. More importantly, the staff was helpful, friendly and very accommodating, especially Paul at the front desk. Definitely will...

Easily the best bang for your buck in Vail. By no means is this a luxury or modern hotel, but the staff is great and the rooms are spacious and clean. The location is central between Vail Village (maybe 10-15 min walk) and Lionshead (5-10 min walk). It's even closer to a bus stop. The hotel bar/restaurant has very fair...

Pluses: For a 3 star hotel, I was surprised at how spacious were the property and rooms. Fairly clean rooms, great TV choice of channels, good location in between lions head and the village. Minuses: Breakfast should be included, hot tub wasn't clean, some of the front desk staff require customer service training.

Close to slopes. Old rooms, uncomfortable beds. I guess you shouldn't expect too much at this price point in Vail but kind of eww. Fabric headboards? Blech. The good things are that you can walk to Lionshead and the Eagle Bahn lift. Get a good beer in the pub and put the old bedspread out of your mind.

While this hotel may be the most affordable option in the Vail village (for a reason); while it offers a free parking, which is rare; while on paper it does fit three stars criteria, please think twice before staying there. This is the most run-down hotel we visited for a very long time. Bathrooms needs a major fix-up or a...

I booked a room through Vail on Sale for a long weekend @ $329 a night. We arrived and I was hoping to get a little help with my bags guess again. So, I loaded up the luggage cart and it almost broke and then barely fit into the elevator, hallway door and room. The room was decorated in the...

for the bedbugs, that is. I spent one night here on a visit to the Steadman clinic. It was the only hotel in a 2 week visit to Colorado. The desk folk were courteous, breakfast looked OK but my gosh -the tub did not drain and later in the day when we checked out, both my wife and I were...

Dear SankandFrandy, Thank you for recognizing our Front Desk Staff. We have confirmed the room is clean and does not have bed bugs nor has it ever. Additionally, did not receive a complaint to the front desk or housekeeping. Best- Evergreen Lodge at Vail Management

easy for a quick ski trip. I really like the free parking (even tough you pay a small resort fee) it is cheaper than vail parking. walk to slopes (15 min) and get a great room for value. the bar is a bonus but nothing special.

Really good rates and is located right behind the Medial Center which is probably a five minute walk to Lions Head Village if you don't want to utilize the great bus service in Vail. Beds were very comfortable - they had a large indoor hot tub and an exercise room as well. The Lodge has a nice all you can...

I got here and my reservation was a month later than I scheduled. I was pretty upset and was going to go else where and never look back, but Paul at the front desk changed that. He spent much time arranging things so I could have the week I needed here. It was EXTREMELY important that I had a place...
