We returned to the Lift House after a 10 year retreat from skiing out west. Our first trip to the Lift House was in 1982; it is still wonderful. The staff is friendly, accommodating, and helpful. The efficient rooms have a wonderful fireplace and a kitchenette, which is perfect for full breakfasts before hitting the slopes. I miss the view...

Perfect location in Lionshead, without costing a ton of money. That said, rooms could use some updating. The bed was not extremely comfortable. But great value and location and very clean. Awesome view of mountain/village from balcony.

Great Location. Just steps to the lift and night life. Bart and Yeti's right downstairs in the same building. Best local's bar in all of Vail, be sure to stop in and see Denise or HB. Best wings and green chili in town, probably anywhere. Try Montauk too for great seafood.

This is not the best luxury hotel in town but it would satisfy the needs of traveler like me. As a hard core skier, I like to save any single minutes other than the slope time. So, 5 minutes walk to the Gondola is ideal location. Also in-room kitchen is a great resource to serve my all meals during my...

We stay at Lift House almost yearly to ski. We have a great view and close walk to the lifts and Gondola at Lionshead. We enjoy warming up to our fireplace after skiing and having a glass of wine on the balcony. We listen to the live music below us at Bart and Yeti's. The staff has been very friendly.

Amazing location, friendly staff, clean comfortable rooms. We stayed for a week last spring. The room we had overlooked the ice rink in Loinshead. Our balcony overlooked the kids playground. We were steps from the gondola and we frequently came down to our room for lunch.

Thank you for taking the time to review the Lift House Lodge. We love that you took advantage of our location and kitchenettes to enjoy a lunch ski break in your room.

Went there during the summer with my girlfriend and our dog. The service was excellent, the room was clean, spacious, and had a great view of the cobblestone street below. Planning on going back there again later in the year for a Ski Trip. A great way to experience Vail and Lionshead Village without totally breaking the bank,

The Lifthouse is a short walk to the lifts & has convenient parking. The staff has always been very helpful & friendly. The balcony overlooking the mountain is one of my favorite views. Its also a short walk to the bus stop which will take you all around vail.
