This Marriott is located close to the Gondola in the Lionshead area of Vail. It's about a 5-10 minute walk to the gondola. The room was comfortable but I was a little disappointed with the price being charged and what it got for you. I am a Marriott Platinum member and have stayed plenty of nights at Marriott property and...

Friendly staff, ski rentals at hotel, gondola ski lift very close, clean hotel and good food. I would definitely stay again the next time I go. Prices a little expensive compared to other hotels. Price was around 700 per night. All cars must valet.

The location in Lionshead is great! A bit of a hike to walk to the mountain but can definitely do it and if not, they will valet your skis and hold everything for you at the ski shop when done. The staff are great! Hotel is very nice, but the rooms are small and a little bit dates for the...

In 2014 I stayed 116 nights in a hotel, so I regularly frequent Marriott, Hilton, and Hyatt. Marriott Vail is one of my favorite properties, with a combination of great service and a terrific location and property. They are walking distance to Lionshead Vail Gondola, and have a hot tub (2), indoor pool, spa, etc, but it is the service...

I have to say, I'm a Marriott Girl (Platinum) I do pick a lot of my destinations on where Marriott locations are: When friends asked us to Vail, I started my search with Marriott ~ The location is a Winner ~ We were upgraded to a Jr Suite with an adjoining Deluxe room next door, We loved having the LivingRoom/Kitchenette...

I will start by saying the hotel staff was great, Charter Sports was outstanding and the location was convenient to walk places. Otherwise, the rooms are in rough shape and the hotel needs a major overhaul relative to what you would expect out of a Marriott. Examples: room door could be pushed open when closed, laminate pealing off night stand,...

Great hotel, convenient location. Staff very helpful, ski valet staff great. We did not eat at hotel restaurants, but the comp après cocoa and cider has nice. The main hot tub could have been a bit bigger, it was a bit small for property size, and the second hot tub was not working. Guest room was nice(DLX room) W/ fireplace,...

My husband, daughter, and I spent a weekend at the Marriott Vail Mountain Resort and had a wonderful experience. The staff was welcoming and friendly, and the concierge was particularly helpful. Our room was absolutely gorgeous - I had read to request a higher floor and we requested a fireplace, mountain views, and a high floor and it was completely...

I was in Vail for a educational conference and the Marriott was the overflow site. Hotel was wonderful - rooms with patio's, beautiful views, very comfortable beds. Some trouble with temperature regulation (way too hot even though thermostat turned down to 60). I'm not sure if the higher floors - the heat travels regardless of what you have it set...

Location - right in the heart of Lionshead. Walking distance to many shops and restaurants. Although this hotel is not ski in/out the free valet service is very convenient and walking is only 3-4 minutes to the main gondola. Shuttle service to Vail Village is right outside the main entrance. Rooms - we had the Timberline suite (unit 4) which...
