Valley Hi is on the main street in Winter Park as you enter town from the ski resort. It's within easy walking distance of the downtown restaurants and shops. The motel has about 20 rooms on two levels. The rooms are good sized, clean and well-supplied. There is an outdoor hot tub, plentiful parking and a light breakfast. The host...

Polish Joe was the best! Great place! Great hospitality! Great location for Winter Park skiing! Oh, and the hot tub was actually hot! Thank you, Joe, for adding to my first ski experience. Very memorable!

We took the Ski train from Denver's Union Station for a weekend of skiing at Winter Park. When the owner realized that, on Saturday, he called to ensure we arrived ok, and told us which bus to take from the resort to the town of Winter Park (the black line). the bus stop is steps from Valley Hi. He offered...

I picked this motel for it's location in Winter Park to be able to walk around the town. The place is self was clean and the staff was friendly and informative of the town. It is a bit rough in the repair category but not enough to affect your stay. The Room 11 was large and very clean but needed...

The room was clean, the parking lot was uncrowded, the breakfast was acceptable (if you are not lactose intolerant), and the location is good- at the upper end of town near a walking trail. Esthetically, the building is homely; the parking lot is unpaved; the rooms are pretty basic. Price-wise, it was more than we are used to paying at...

Very conveniently located in Winter Park and close to Cooper Creek, Hideaway Park, and across the street of the ski shuttle. The rooms were clean and spacious and newly done. Coffee and pastries were provided every morning before I went out skiing. Overall really nice place and very friendly family owners. I love that the Fraser River Trail and view...

Our room was large, clean, comfortable. It caters to skiers in the winter, so it was not terribly crowded. The garden outside was lovely--tended by Joe Ligas' wife. The motel was right on the main drag. Easy to walk to a lovely city park (which had a great playground for kids). Also, easy to walk to several restaurants.

Right on the main street through town and conveniently located to shopping and dining. Certainly not the newest or nicest place, but quite comfortable and quiet. My king suite was far larger than I expected. The breakfast was rather limited. The deck around the hot tub was a nice place to spend some outdoor time. Friendly staff completed the nice...
