We have a very happy 3-night stay at this well appointed villa in a superb location overlooking the Senggigi bay of Lombok island. This place is a true honeymooners' paradise. Jean-Paul and Nury are very kind and passionate about running this small boutigue hotel.

Though not in a walking distance to the beach, it's still convenient to hire a private taxi to get around the area at reasonable price. There are many good spots along the coastal drive where you can stop and take panoramic pictures of various beaches. I highly recommend spending time at Nipah beach less than half an hour away.

We stayed at the Puncak in August. From the moment we arrived the owner and his team Budy and Superdan were faultless. Very attentive and helpful. The grounds, the views, the pool, the sunsets…just amazing. It’s incredibly peaceful and the perfect place to relax. The breakfasts were lovely, fresh and delicious. Huge portions. Might be nice to have a lighter option, I felt guilty when I couldn’t finish it. We would definitely recommend The Puncak to anyone visiting Lombok.
The only teeny tiny criticism would be the fridge in the room buzzed quite loudly and being a light sleeper I used earplugs.

From the moment we arrived, Jean made us feel welcomed and at ease. He took care of every request we had (and we had quite a few of them). It’s easy to get to the main Senggigi stretch for a massage/meal too (just get a Grab or Gojek).

Will recommend The Puncak if you are looking for a relaxed, quiet, tropical getaway.

A big shout out to JP and Nuri. We stayed at The Puncak back in February, just before Covid started to become a thing here in Asia. Sorry it has been so long in posting a review, life got in the way! The week we spent at the Puncak was amazing, we really cannot recommend this place enough. The views, atmosphere, service and accommodation are all of the highest order. We had a fantastic time and hope JP, Nuri and The Puncak are al well in these uncertain times.

We loved our stay at The Puncak so much! If we come back to Lombok, there’s no question we would stay again. Jean-Paul was very welcoming and so helpful. He organized our airport pick up and a full day tour of Tetebatu. The food was all delicious and you can’t beat the views. The staff was also very friendly and helpful. 10/10 recommend for anyone looking for a quiet relaxing hotel, but easy access into town.

The Puncak was the definition of luxurious romanticism. In the Indonesian native language, The Puncak means "The Summit" as it is perched atop one of the largest hills in Lombok, which overlooks miles of the gorgeous Lombokian coastline. Upon arrival we were greeted by the hotel owner with a warm smile and a little background on how The Puncak came to be. Jean Paul and his wife Nury built The Puncak without any contractors and you could tell throughout the stay that these two truly poured their hearts into creating this marvelous boutique hotel.

Although The Puncak is small and designed for honeymooners, any traveler can soak in the beauty and serenity of this place. Each room is named after a different type of stone, as a magnificent stone headpiece lines the wall above and behind the bed. The rooms were unique and differ in small detail which displays the amount of passion and effort that go into designing The Puncak. Sweet aromas and flower pedals are found throughout the room, giving off a feeling of being in a tranquil home rather than a hotel. With five elegant rooms, The Puncak is able to deliver an amazing experience to each and every guest with a staff who can always assist you with anything you need. You can really find another level of peace and relaxation with perfect views of the sun setting behind the water from the comfort of lounge chairs, your own dining table or the stunning infinity pool.

We were welcomed with a complimentary traditional Lombok salad and freshly picked coconut juice, which was wonderful after our hot boat ride from Gili Meno. The dinner is completely specially prepared and daily fresh, so whatever you are feeling, kindly ask the staff and they will craft the perfect meal. Along with dinner is a graceful arrangement of lanterns and lights to set the mood for a picturesque night of fine dining.

My absolute favorite part of my stay at Puncak was the bed. Jean Paul informed us that he took special care in choosing tempurpedic mattresses and high thread count sheets from abroad to have shipped over, as he accurately pointed out—the most important part of staying at any hotel is sleeping so why not make it the best experience possible. I kid you not I slept for almost 11 hours, not because I was overly tired, but simply because I felt like I was sleeping on a cloud specifically designed for me.

Overall, The Puncak was a wonderful welcoming experience into the island of Lombok. Jean Paul and Nury ultimately want their guests to be submerged in an experience that tingles each of the five human senses. I am very happy and confident in saying that these two, along with the help of their kind staff, have perfected the art of making a guest feel blissful while staying at The Puncak. If you would like a unique encounter at a boutique hotel designed to cater your every comfort, then The Puncak is highly recommended.

I first encountered the PUNCAK 3 years ago but ultimately travel plans changed.. But kept it in mind on my return and so glad I did.
This place is beautiful, there is so much attention to detail that you wouldn't find anywhere else.
It is not a luxury resort, but a cosy and intimate getaway with a personal touch.
If you want anything, your hosts can arrange it for you, or they can leave you alone to enjoy the wonderful views.

If you normally travel with a lower budget I would urge you to make an exception for this place as I did, it really is worth every penny!

Located at the summit of the hill behind Sengiggi, this boutique hotel overlooks the ocean of Sengiggi. Indulgent, relaxing, serene, luxurious and intimate are all words to describe The Puncak. What makes it even more special are the owners Jean-Paul and his wife Nuri. Meals are cooked for dinner and breakfast by Nuri and was some of the best food I've tasted. Mouthwatering flavoursome food and great service. I highly recommend the tom yum and spring rolls. The owners have thought about everything in this hotel, the attention to detail is perfect. The Puncak is soothing on the soul and definitely worth a visit.

This is definitely the nicest property we've stayed at, beautiful and serene, surrounded by green hills and ocean views.
We've stayed a few nights at high end beach boutique hotels in Lombok, it wasn't as upscale as The Puncak, and the rates here are lower.
The place is absolute chill, Puncak and staff seem to have though ahead of time about what you need and the nice touches around everywhere.
They put luxury through truly outstanding personalized service.
The rooms are spacious and comfortable, the bed and linens top rate, spotless and kept brilliantly clean and tidy.
The breakfast was impossibly rich and full of variation.
Something precious I wouldn't consider to gamble about is my dinner. In Puncak you order it a few hours in advance. I love it. We always got briefed about what's fresh in the kitchen, or lively fresh ingredients were purchased right after putting our order. Brilliant.
Puncak offered us very creative cocktails with a smell, taste and visual experience which left an ever lasting impression on our pallet.
Well balanced organic salads and lettuce with intense subtly flavors of diverse fresh herbs, nuts, fruits and vinaigrette.
And finally our dinners were made with amazing creativity, harmonious, an ultimate dining experience. All this with the freshest ingredients and cooked to perfection.
The Puncak is worth every penny and highly recommended!

Me and my wife spent a week of our honeymoon at The Puncak and we could not have chosen a better place. The view is absolutely magical. The rooms are spacious, the bed is very comfortable (I have back problems and find it hard to sleep in a lot of places and had no issues with this). The fact that ALL the food is homemade and fresh (they go to the market every morning so you have to ask in advance) makes a huge difference. Having a butler serving your every need feels luxurious and the fact that it is a group of only five villas gives you a feeling of privacy that is very nice. But what really makes The Puncak so special is the very familiar vibe it has. The owner personally welcomed us and showed us around and did everything in his power to fulfil our every desire. Thank you Jean Paul for everything! We'll be back soon!
