The villa was big, with a great pool which kids liked a lot. The staff was very friendly. We also liked the breakfast, which was served every morning. The only minus goes to the cleanliness of the house.

This was my second time at Imaj and once again I was not disappointed. It’s such great value and Trifosa the manager is wonderful . Sadly Lombok has been struck by a number of earthquakes but from what I hear there has been little damage at Imaj. I hope that anyone considering going to Lombok still takes advantage of this beautiful accommodation that is situated in the hills looking over Sengiggi

After researching Imaj Private Villas online, we booked Villa 1 and hoped it would be as beautiful as the pictures we had seen. We most certainly were not disappointed! From the moment we walked through the gate we were surrounded by the most amazing views over the ocean, stunning spacious outdoor area with private pool amongst peace and tranquility. Stepping into the villa itself we noted the very large central lounge and dining area with plenty of comfortable seating and lovely artwork on the walls. Each of the 3 bedrooms had a private bathroom, again very spacious and well appointed. We instantly fell in love with the villa and the staff, who went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. We literally could not have wished for a more beautiful place to stay for our first time in Lombok and have already booked to return next year. …

The view and the staff were just amazing. Yoga with Sarah was fantastic as were the massages. Snorkeling Trip to Gilli Islands is a must as well as the waterfalls. Imaj is quite isolated so if youre after shopping and markets that are within walking distance then its probably not the most appropriate place but good if you're wanting a less "touristy" place to stay.

We had an amazing time in this private villa. Everything is perfect, the villa is very spacious, the pool with the view on the bay is just awesome! I've never seen sunsets more beautiful than here! Breakfast is very good and staff so helpful! So many activities can be provided! This is heaven!

Staff at the villa are so so lovely and made us feel very welcome and well looked after . Trifosa the manager regularly checked in on us and had great suggestions on things to do and see. Food was nice and reasonably priced . Massages were excellent and in a lovely setting in the outdoor day spa area. Thevilla bus was always available for us to use to take us wherever we wanted to go . The villa bathrooms are a little run down , but this really didn’t bother us at all as the setting and villa (villa 1) are unreal. I booked some yoga sessions for myself and family . It was wonderfully set up , and Sarah , the teacher was lovely . It was the first time any of us had done yoga and Sarah was mindful of this . We were all in awe of her strength ! She took some photos during the classes and Mei-Lin and Kerry-Ellen kindly tracked them down and sent them to me as a wonderful reminder of our stay there . The owner is not on site, but is very quick to respond to requests via email. Very happy!…

Stayed in the 3 bedroom villa with friends, we couldn't believe how nice our villa was, it's amazing. Beautiful views, awesome pool, massive rooms, spectacular bathrooms. The menu was reasonably priced and the food was good. Would highly recommend staying here, we had and amazing 5 night stay. suggestions not criticism perhaps twin bed options or rooms are big enough to even offer some triple options and maybe add some snack items like chips, nuts chocolates to the menu

From the moment we got there we were treated like kings and queens. We arrived late and asked for dinner to be made in our villa for 12 of us. This was no trouble for the team there. The villas were immaculate just like the pics. Actually the pictures don't do them justice. We will certainly be back. I have been to Bali many times but this being the first time to Lombok and I will always now be back. Thanks for your hospitality, you truly made our stay comfortable. We will never forget and have highly recommended other friends to stay here.

Imaj Private Villas was a great place for a relaxing holiday in Lombok. I travelled from Australia and signed up to the Surf & Yoga Retreat Package. It was amazing! The package included 5 Nights Accommodation, 3 x Surf Classes, 3 x Yoga Classes and 1 x Zen Massage. The view of my villa was stunning. It overlooked the ocean. I felt like I was in paradise as I watched the view at sunrise and sunset. Often I would wake up to see many colourful sailing boats on the ocean and a massive cruise ship. The view was absolutely outstanding! The gardens of Imaj are so beautifully maintained. The birds are chirping and you can hear the muslim prayers... It's very relaxing. The air conditioner works perfectly well and the massive pool overseeing Senggigi Beach is very luxurious. The food at Imaj was great. I am a pescatarian, so I mostly ate fish and vegetarian meals. The fresh fruit juices were delicious. I felt very well taken care of. There is a waiter who has worked at Imaj for over 10 years. He is so friendly, lovely and was always smiling whilst he delivered my food and collected my dishes. On my first day, Trifosa (Hotel Manager) asked me about my food preferences and ensured that the hotel stocked up on fruits, fish and vegetables. I felt a very special treatment and it made me feel at home. Trifosa, is amazing and very professional. She always did her best to make guests feel 100% happy during their stay. Hardi (Driver) is a very nice and kind person. He is very professional and dedicated. Hardi is a very good driver and made me feel safe at all times. He knows exactly when to talk and when you just want to relax and enjoy the ride. Trifosa and Hardi kindly made me company during my surfing trips and my trip to Gili Sudak as well as surrounding islands. They were both so lovely and amazing photographers! Trifosa and Hardi sent me all the photos and videos of myself surfing and exploring the islands. I have very special memories. Fairuz Sarah (Yoga Guru) is so professional and great at what she does. Practicing morning yoga was the best way to commence my days. Fairuz Sarah made my passion towards yoga be reborn. I always loved to practice yoga and as life got busier and busier, I stopped. Fairuz Sarah made me realise again the importance of breathing properly, stretching the body, meditating and relaxing the mind, body and soul. Andre is a great surf instructor and helped me turn into reality one of my biggest life dreams. I had an amazing time surfing with him. I stood up on the board on my second wave. On my second surf class I was already catching waves of nearly my size. Obviously, Andre only took me to those surf breaks with bigger waves because of my quick progress. He was very careful and cautious of my safety at all times. All the surf classes were private and went on for hours. He drives you to the surf points. I went to nearly every surf break on the island with him. Surfing is Kuta Lombok was so cool! I would definitely stay at Imaj Private Villas again! What a beautiful and special place!
