I treated myself to a day of pampering, something I rarely do. I have to say the staff was amazing from the moment I checked in. My massage and facial were relaxing and informative. Manicure and pedicure really so fun with the group in the room. The staff really knew their clients (Amanda and Kim) Each professional took the time...

Mary Profetto is an excellent massage woman. I received her massage on December 10 for one hour. She is very happy and very devoted to perform very good massages for the best needed by her customers. Highly recommended for everyone at this facility since my brother also had an excellent massage from another woman on the same day.

Disappointed that so many long time staff have left, but feel that for me the ambience of the building & the familiarity of the drive from New Haven are preventing me from following my regular aesthetician to Guilford, which is a bit too far & inconvenient for me. My only complaint is that despite interior renovations a couple of years...

I have been patronizing By The Sea since they were on Howard Ave. I have always received great service!. I went tonight for a deep tissue massage. I can't say enough. i am a hairstylist for the past 38 years and I know the difference between a great massage and a good one and Heather was absolutely amazing!!! The spa...

I received a gift card for a massage and a pedicure. I made my appointment for 1:30pm. I arrived at the salon at 1:25 and checked in. They asked me to wait in the lounge and someone would be with me shortly. It was 1:55 when I went to the desk asking what the hold up was, the manager said...

I haven't stayed in the Inn (no need as I live in Branford), but have loved the Spa for many years. I recently scheduled a last minute appointment through their new online booking system at a discount. I was running late and called to see if I could still come and only get 60 minutes instead of the originally scheduled...

I received a gift certificate as a gift long ago, I lost the certificate in my home until recently. My daughter wanted to go with me to a spa and I remembered this certificate. When I arrived I was told it was not any good but I asked for them to please appeal to the owners as it was worth...

I purchased a spa package for my wife and her friend for mothers day. The spa communicated very strict rules about punctuality and losing your time if you are late. My wife and friend were 15 minutes early for the appointment but they did not get started until 20 minutes late. The place is out dated for sure. Treatments were...

First of all, the people running the place are really nice - the innkeeper, the manager, the receptionist and the spa folk. Secondly, the room was comfy, quiet and basically a great place to get some sleep, which was all we required. Nice setup for something to munch in the morning. I waited while my partner was getting their manicure/pedicure,...

Along the Connecticut shore, Branford's central location makes this the ideal place to stay for a mini vacation. Minutes from New Haven and directly off Interstate 95, you'll find Branford to be a convenient and fun place to stay while visiting the Connecticut seashore. Branford is located in the Southern part of Connecticut, only about 10 minutes from New Haven,...
