We booked at short notice and the staff were helpful. Our room was great with lovey views. We lay in bed and watched the sun rise up over the mainland hills. We have stayed here before and it is good value for money. It is not the Ritz but it is not trying to be.

Came in for a wee drink with a friend. Girl behind the bar was lovely, great little cheery place. It does serve food although we didnt have time to eat. They have old photos of the Island which are great. And the wee story about Elvis visiting many years ago is brilliant 😂😂 my friend totally believed it. Looking forward... More

My wife and I went over to Millport for an overnight stay after enjoying a wedding in Largs. Millport is a lovely island with a lot more to do than some people may think. First impressions of the Royal George were of an old hotel which was being looked after. We checked in and were shown our room on an... More

Firstly I need to say we booked this "hotel" because a family member had fond memories of Millport as a child. We choose the Royal George as it advertised a 3 room suite with"balcony". On arrival the disinterested girl in the reception "space" told us to go to the bar to check in. Arriving at the room we didn't know... More

We've been here the past two years on trips to Millport and we love it. The coffee is really good, one of the best I've had in Scotland. I had the club Sandwich which was really good and so much food for the price. For 3 meals and a round of drinks it came to £25 which we thought was... More

We eat here at least once in every trip to Millport. It's in a good location next to the local bus terminal. It serves pub style food like fish and chips, chilli, and burgers etc and the usual selection of kids meals. They have evening entertainment at the weekend.
