The new owners have really improved everything from inside the pub to the camp site itself and shower blocks. Brilliant atmosphere inside pub and all across campsite. Food great as well. Everything kept clean and rubbish free.

Visited the pub today. It's been done up beautifully. It's bright, airy and clean! The new owners are very friendly and the site is lovely. The toilet blocks have been done up too. Looks like a lot of effort has gone into it. We unfortunately missed the opening day but hoping to come back when they have more entertainment on....

We have camped here previously so it was with some concern that we rebooked to stay over the bank holiday weekend as we were in the area visiting friends. what a difference, the pub and site have recently benefitted from new enthusiastic owners. The place is clean and welcoming, special mention re: the toilets with exceptionally hot showers that do...

Went to have a look round ready for our next camping trip. New owners are lovely and really friendly. They gave us a tour of the facilities and are doing a really good job of upgrades - ladies toilets are really clean and fresh looking and the owner is starting the men's next week. The pub is really fresh and...

The new owners are very friendly have been very busy revamping all of the site. We were one of the first there and the new toilet and shower block was really well done. Looking forward to going back when they have finished the bar and kitchen.

Not a friendly welcome at all. Food not home cooked, sandwich dry. Just not what is expected of a supposedly family pub. Never again First really bad pub we have visited. Shame because lovely area and lovely building. Kids activities, improvement needed

Popped in here for a sandwich lunch a couple of weeks ago and was disappointed. I had expected a nice traditional English pub but it would have looked more at home in a rough part of London! We were deafened by the loud music and chose to sit outside which was quite pleasant, however the food was dreadful. I have...

Went with very low expectations due to previous reviews. Had a lovely time with 5 families. Didn't use pub at all. Staff relaxed and friendly. Loads of kids on BH weekend, all friendly All campers seemed to turn off music by midnight or just after. Great night sleep both nights in completely quiet but busy field. Enough space for kids...

This is the second visit this year to this site. Again had a lovley stay and its still great value for money. We will definitely be booking to go again. The site has bad reviews but on our 2 visits have not had any problems. A gate barrier has been put up to keep out unwanted guest. I would say...
