We stayed here just after the February snowstorm. As Californians we were not used to snow. Our room 51 was warm and comfortable and the hosts were friendly and helpful. It is very conveniently located for the seaport and restaurants in town.

Beautiful accommodations, quiet even in a front room. Breakfast service had great variety with friendly service. Convenient walk to the fabulous shops and the seaport, which in late December, was serene and beautiful.

We always go some place for Valentine's Day and this year we chose the Whaler Inn in Mystic, CT. We hadn't been there in over 25 years and the rates were so reasonable, that we did not know what to expect. Boy were we happily surprised. Check-in was very pleasant and Karen explained everything to us. Our room, #26 was...

If you are looking for turn of the century charm Whaler's Inn is it. The staff are very accommodating and pleasant. The heat was temporarily out of commission and our room was quite cold, they were able to move us to another room immediately. The included breakfast is more than adequate.

We needed a hotel unexpectedly and thought The Whaler's Inn would do the job. Our room, #26, had been recently renovated and seemed OK for the price. Then, we tried to get some sleep. Unfortunately, that was not an option since there is an older heating system of some sort that generated those classic "banging pipes" noises. And unfortunately, that...

I was very pleased to stay at this hotel, which was in the heart of Mystic and cute room. The room was nautical theme and charming. Free welcome hot drink and amazing breakfast, healthy yet delicious bread, quiche and yogurt. It said continental but it was more than that! Just returned from the Whaler's Inn. A wonderful location and a gem in Mystic. It is right next to the drawbridge and an easy walk to shops and restaurants. But even better, an overall charming and comfortable spot!

This Inn exudes charm. The staff was helpful, thoughtful, informative and kind. Location was perfect. Surrounded by great food and entertainment. Our room was located in the 1865 house. It was simple with no fireplace. We didn't mind as majority of our time was spent outdoors. My husband and I came to Mystic for a weekend getaway without the kids....
