We loved this place. However, it may not be for everyone. If you want a sterile, impersonal chain go stay at the Marriott. This place has all the charm of a great lady. The hotel is was built in 1894 (?) and though she shows...More

The Duncan Hotel is not for everyone. It is old (well over 100 years); it has, no doubt, seen better days. It is definitely in need of some TLC, a bit of paint, some new furniture, better lighting, a general sprucing up. On the other...More

This hotel is quaint & very clean. Don't expect all the frills of newer hotels, but the staff at the hotel are very accommodating. The best part is that it's one half a block from Yale, so you can walk everywhere.

Greetings, Carryl. The Duncan does have cable TV, but I don't believe there is in room coffee. There is no restaurant, but there are several restaurants within a block and many more within several blocks.
