This place used to be great with a real personality. It's still better than average but has lost its interesting edge and the restaurant is good but slow and probably a bit overpriced. A good example is the cheese plate. 6 dollar a piece - and I mean a mouse mouthful. Lots of almonds, lots of gherkins etc etc -...

We stayed The Study while visiting our son at Yale. We brought our very well behaved English Springer Spaniel and must say the hotel is superb. Friendly staff, lovely rooms, nice amenities and great location. The restaurant needs to work on staff and food however. Too much salt and way too much attitude.

The hotel is in a perfect location for just about anything going on at the University. In addition, your are within three or four blocks of all the major restaurants in the immediate area, which are great. More importantly, the attention and service at the hotel is excellent. Their staff is friendly, helpful and extremely accommodating.

Modern, efficient, and clean rooms. Walking distance from a number of places on Yale's campus. I didn't have a car, so I can't comment on parking. A number of restaurants and shops nearby. Would visit again.

We stayed here in December for a little getaway on our way home from holiday visits. The hotel itself is very attractice. The rooms have a modern design and are have lots of light. There was a desk alonside the windows which was very convenient for doing work on the computer. The bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom was...

On the sixth floor our room offered a wonderful view of the Yale campus. We loved the room with its crisp design, full window length desk, big comfy chair, and great bed. The lobby was comfortable and cozy as well, and quite good for just sitting and reading a book or meeting friends. We also loved the hotel restaurant Heirloom...

The first time we stayed at this hotel was because of a wedding in the area. Most of the wedding guests from out of town stayed here and the brides family hosted a very nice breakfast in a private room on near the dining room. We had a very good stay there and have since returned when in town, sometimes...

This hotel has a very nice modern design that serves as the setting for a wonderfully helpful and friendly staff and some excellent food. We didn't try the dinner but the breakfast is truly as good as anywhere. What a pleasure ! Rooms are just fine- not super special. My two criticisms of the rooms are: 1. Seems like in...

Poor service, awful sauces with appetizers... horse radish with fries? ....and with bread??? No thanks. Was also overpriced. We don't mind overpaying if it is good, but this wasn't. Not a good environment
