I stayed there during a conference and found the hotel appealing and very convenient with it's interesting and modern design. The food at the restaurant was excellent. I saw the coffee bar in the lobby only the next morning: what a relief.

Great location, crisp and modern feel to the lobby and guest rooms -- with amazing views of the Yale campus! Highly recommend for a weekend overnight especially combined with a visit to the Yale Art Museum nearby.

We had the pleasure of staying 3 nights over Thanksgiving break visiting our son who is attending Yale law school. It was so nice to have coffee available in the lobby in the morning. And the lobby is a great place to read the paper or anything else. We worked out in the gym, ate dinner at Heirloom and kept...

We have been guests at The Study many times since it opened. And what a relief it was to have such a great hotel in a city we visit often! The location, at the doorstep of Yale, is ideal. Restaurants abound in the area, but don't skip the hotel's restaurant that is tops in New Haven. Two terrific museums are...

I had the pleasure of spending 3 nights at this hotel this month. The first thing I noticed is that you must use a valet for parking. I normally don't like to use valets, but it was not really a big deal as the valet is quick and friendly. I was in a standard king room that faced Chapel street....

I attended Yale as an undergrad and we didn't have anything remotely like the Study while I was a student there. It's a breath of fresh air in the hospitality community, with outstanding service, an excellent restaurant on the lobby level, spacious, comfortable rooms and located DIRECTLY on the Yale campus, on Chapel St. across from the Yale School of...

The Study at Yale is geared to making you feel smart for being there, while being hip by reading, having long important conversations, and looking intellectual. Having gone to Yale years ago, I know that this is a fantastic reincarnation of what used to be the dour Colony Inn and that section of Chapel Street bears absolutely no relation to...

Incredibly comfortable room, perfect location, gracious and kind staff. If you are visiting Yale, this is the best location. I was in New Haven to tend to my sick child - a Yale undergrad - and the staff could not have been kinder and more accommodating.

I spent two nights in this hotel and had a wonderful, quiet stay. The hotel is really well located, down the street from the wonderful Yale Art Museum (be sure to save some time for a visit there!) and the Yale Museum of British Art. There are lots of restaurants nearby and several wonderful café/bookstore combinations, just what you want....

When we pulled up to The Study, a guy approached our car and asked if we were staying at the hotel. He was so schlubby and laid-back that I literally looked him up and down to make sure he was actually a hotel employee before I answered and gave him the car keys. He did have on a hat and...
