I should have read the reviews here. This place is awful and bears no resemblance to the impression given on another booking site. My room had a very dirty old carpet and my 'patio' was a tiny area looking on to a high wall but worst of all was the broken chair on the patio. I didn't bother to report...

When you first arrive here, you are quite impressed by the setup, but then you begin to notice all the things that could so easily have been remedied - sheets with huge tears in them, stained duvet covers, horribly marked overlays on tables, an exercise bike in reception, cardboard boxes all over the pooldeck, a TV with only four channels,...

We arrived after a long drive from Plettenberg Bay, and after parking the car we went to check in. 2 Yorkshire terriers was running about barking in reception, and smelt really bad of dog smell. Lady was quite pleasant but was disorganised, had allocated are room and went to put our bags. Looking around the room was 1960s style, bathroom...

We stayed in the section near reception and the office in the house - the website pictures are misleading, rooms very small (bathrooms tiny) and in addition to someone showering late or early being a guaranteed wake up (or using the bathroom for that matter), the staff and owner seem to forget they are meant to make their guests comfortable...

Stayed here for a convention at the nearby Cape Recife School, Port Elizabeth. Wifi signal was available only at the reception. Room allocated was very spacious with wardrobes, seating area, dressing table and a large comfy bed. Bathroom was equally spacious with good storage area for toiletries and plentiful hot water from a high pressure shower. The reception and pond-side...

Charming little hotel just a small walk away from the beach. Friendly staff and the cutest hotel-doggie you have ever seen. Rooms could do with a bit of a revamp, but at least the rooms, towels and linen are clean! Would gladly visit again.

This hotel is definitely not 4-star as advertised (probably done long ago) and not my idea of a "boutique hotel". The rooms are very small with outdated decor. The breakfast was disappointing and we were woken early by a bell constantly being pressed at reception and noise from the courtyard and breakfast area. The room had a fridge (not switched...

Needed a place to stay that was close to the beachfront for a weekend event to avoid having to travel and find parking with the large crowds. The location is perfect for this, a short walk from the beach yet away from the busy areas. The room was neat and comfortable, the bathroom was great and the bed was super...

Apart from the alright location (not too far away from the beach and the airport) there is nothing to write home about concerning this hotel. Very ordinary breakfast with extremly disorganized service. TV in room did not work, no aircon.

Forget expecting a chic boutique hotel. There is nothing contempory about this place. Depressing and shabby more like. Very dark, depressing and dated. If accommodation hadn't been so difficult to find we would have moved. Our rooms had safes. My friends safe was particularly convenient in so far as it wasn't bolted down, so you could carry it around! It's...
