We booked for two nights, but the house was so disturbing we only stayed one night. It didn't feel like an eclectic B&B, but rather a hoarder's home. It was extremely cluttered and all of the linens had the odor of a dirty basement. We felt so uncomfortable sleeping on the sheets that we each put a t-shirt over the... More

The Inn has a very unassuming appearance and is easy to miss from the road due to overgrown greenery and no sign. It looks more like just an old house than an attractive Inn. Linda, the innkeeper, is very pleasant. The morning breakfast she provides is excellent. The room we had was extremely cluttered to where you had little room... More

Linda will make you feel right at home. The Morgan Inn history includes having served as a boarding house, and you get the sense that at one point happy voices gathered in the evening in the living room prior to turning in for the night. You can make yourself comfortable in nooks around the living room, on the front porch,... More

We recently stayed at the Morgan Inn for our wedding anniversary and while I wasn't blown away by the dwelling itself, I was by Linda. She is sweet, friendly and went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable. I found the inn to be covered in way too many tchotchkes and the room, Sentimental Journey, to be... More

My boyfriend (at the time) and I decided to escape the hot Florida summer for the Connecticut shore last Labor Day Weekend. Little did I know Linda and my now Husband, were secretly working together to plan the perfect proposal! She helped him plan a picnic, and even prepared the basket for him. The food was great, and she was... More

I was looking for a one night stay for a visit to Newport. Could not find any venue for just one night. Came across the Morgan Inn one hour away. Turned out to be perfect. the owner , Linda, was a delight. Chocolate cake was waiting for us when we checked in. Breakfast was excellent. One of my companions was... More

My wife and I have spent two summer-season stays at the Inn and have been exceptionally pleased. We wanted a place where we could have some privacy and self-sufficiency, but also enjoy the great freedom to wander the back yard's gardens, lounge in the main room and engage in great conversation when the Inn Keeper, Linda, was around. The eclectic... More

My husband and I were very disappointed. We stayed here for two nights and would never recommend this B&B to anyone. Very pricey! Typically when one stays at either a B&B or a hotel for more than one night the bed gets made and clean linens are laid out. This was not the case at The Morgan Inn. We came... More

We have opened our home to travelers for over ten years offering a 1940’s setting in a small coastal New England town. Most of our guests embrace the difference and treat our home as if it were their own as they investigate the unique surroundings or join in conversations. We provide as much guidance or service as requested and have... More

We just got back from a Saturday night stay and could not have been more pleased!!! We needed a place to stay for the night after seeing Kevin James at the Mohegan. Everywhere else was so over priced! The Morgan Inn has all the charm and perfect accommodations that we hoped for! We left the vineyard and kicked back in... More
