We were supposed to stay here 2 nights. Very run down, old and in need of a major overhaul. Rustic accommodations- like camping. We had tons of insect problems. Thankful they had mosquito nets for the sleep. We killed a scorpion, 2 cockroaches, several spiders and about a thousands small flies. Room covered in gecko poop. Lots of dirt and drippings on walls. Mold everywhere. The people were wonderful. This place has so much potential to be a beautiful eco friendly resort with just some cleaning, paint and new curtains.

It was fortunate for us to find a lodge like Lak Resort at Lak Lake. Although facilities are not as good as in the city, but we feel the friendliness and sincerity of the people here. We spent two days here, the food was fantastic; During the day we hire elephant rides; In the evening, we sang and danced with Ede ethnic minorities. Generally it's a great time!

Dak Lak province is amazing. I can ride a elephant across the river for 1 hour only 20$. We drove the boat to the big lake (It name is Lạke also) And too many thing great. We get in a restaurant, try some traditional foods. We buy "Elephant coffee" but never try it. LOL. But everything great.

The best things are the location and views of the lake and the staff. The staff were lovely and friendly and the food pretty good. The views of the lake were stunning at sunset. The room however needed major repairs, the floor tiles had subsided in several parts of the room and bathroom. Although it didn't bother us, there are huge amounts of bugs and geckos in the rooms, so if that bothers you don't visit. We just sprayed around the door and it kept them out of our room and used the mosquito nets.

I stayed in this hostel for one night. That was enough. The room was really filthy and there was ants all over the place. I slept with the lights on under my mosquito net 💁🏼 The water in the shower was warm though and the food in the restaurant was alright. I think that you should be fine for one night only here, but I wouldn't recommend staying here for a longer time.

If you truly hate your friends. Book them a night here. If you love getting eaten by parasitic flies, stay here! This place is miserable, dirty and utterly mosquito infested. If you prefer to stay somewhere non-swampy, give it a miss

We stayed one night as part of our Easy Rider tour. The rooms are dirty and rundown. At night the rooms are full of knats, mosquitos, moths and spiders, the seals on the doors and windows clearly don't work. The shower was lukewarm at best. Please don't stay. It really isn't worth it, especially with a price tag of approximately 20USD.

Chances are u r with a motorcycle tour or an organized tour if u stay at this joint. Was fairly impressed when i arrived but expectation quickly dwindled as soon as i walked into my room. Knew it wouldnt be good with the mosquito nets im the room. Lo and behold, i encountered an army of geckos. They dont bother me that much with one or two but an army worth was a bit excessive. I underst and they are part of every household in vietnam. All night long, the geckos were making noises. The room looks run down and so as the rest of the resort. I was told there is a swimming pool but didnt bother to check. All i can say is stay out of this property. The staff was rather cheerful but not too motivated. I am very certain this place had its glorious days. Everything just seems to be falling apart. My tolerance of budget places is fairly high but this joint push my limit over the edge. The power was out till 730pm on the day of my arrival. It was pitch dark. The exp would hv been a bit better if the tv worked. Watches two mins worth of snowflakes and decided ro turn it off. Guess i should be thankful the ac finally came on. Last word of advice, i wouldnt touch those bottled or can beverages in the room. God knows what have been crawling over yr drinks. Stuff towels under yr door to keep creatures out. Make sure u open the door quickly before mosquito or more geckos from crawling in. The cracks are quite wide. Ask yr guide to find another joint.
