It's refreshing to go to a restaurant where people still dress up to dine. I find it remarkable that this Inn and restaurant is literally hidden off the beaten track in a rural community, yet has a loyal following and is always busy. From the time the valet takes your car, (nice when it snows), to the friendly service and...

Got there after concert around 11pm or would have NEVER stayed.Greeted by nauseating odor, bizarre state of disrepair, walls smeared with some sort of patching material. About 1/4 of total ceiling stained and in some places crudely patched. Floor missing in main hall, sub-floor only. Filthy, smelly carpet, where still left. Impossible to sleep through night, stench in room required...

I visit once or twice a month as I work in an office with HQ just done the street from this charming, historic and awesome place. The staff is like family and the rooms are the most charming New England style. It's a place to check out and the food there is great too!

We only had one night visiting friends in Redding and they chose this for us. We stayed in the guest house in the room(s) called "Cornwall." Be aware that you will have to climb a staircase to get up to it (there are rooms where that is not necessary but they were full.) Spacious room, closet and bathroom. Very quiet...

My wife and I checked it last Friday for an overnight business trip: -Musty smell upon arrival -Not told in advance that Inn was under renovation: bare floors, exposed hallway walls and ceilings -small 20 year old tv without basic cable -non-working room thermostat, very noisy AC unit, two windows but only 1 screen -complimentary breakfast was keurig machine and...

We had a Groupon and had always wanted to try this restaurant. We had a lovely meal after cocktails which were very generous. We started with the beet, endive, walnut salad. It was huge and quite good. For dinner we had the rack of lamb and veal, both were wonderful. The lamb came with 5 chops, potato galette and fresh...

Lovely country setting Inn in Ridgefield. A little tattered in appearance but overall nice place with friendly staff. Easy parking. Has restaurant but did not dine there. No luxury amenities but still simple and clean room had comfortable bed. Nice bathroom. No formal breakfast but good muffins and coffee.

We visited the Stonehenge Inn with friends using a Groupon. I would not have bothered otherwise and following this visit will probably not again. As you enter they have a wall full of awards, looks impressive until you see that the latest one was almost 10 years ago. The meal was OK, I started with French Onion Soup, nothing special,...

Our dinner was wonderful and the service was excellent. My only complaint is to be careful if using a Groupon and ask for an itemized bill. We didn't do the math until after we got back to our hotel, but our bill was definitely padded for a larger gratuity. We had two $40 entrees, one $10 dessert and two $12...
