A friend and I spent one night at the Inn at Stonington in July 2016. I don't think our stay could have been any nicer! We arrived exhausted after a long drive, and Aubrey immediately welcomed us and offered us a glass of wine. We decided to sit on the deck and drink our wine before even unloading the car!...

I've been coming here for a number of years and it just gets better each time. Very quiet, very beautiful and very romantic inn/small hotel located in gorgeous Stonington Borough right on the water. I almost hate to review it so as not to add to the crowding - although in many years I've never seen Stonington over run by...

The Inn is very quaint and nicely maintained. Most rooms appear to be in the main building but others are in an annex next door. Sure they are up to their high standards but if being in the main building is important specify when making the reservation. Located on Water Street in the middle of Stonington Borough it is close...

Gorgeous inn right in the heart of historic Stonington. Our charming corner room with a balcony looked out on the harbor. The common areas are tastefully elegant, and the included breakfast was more than enough. Love that they have a Keurig so we early risers can get coffee whenever we want. To top off this gem, the customer service is...

We recently stayed for a week and made the Inn at Stonington our hub. The inn is beautifully decorated and well maintained. It was quiet and very comfortable. The continental breakfast was nicely laid out and there were plenty of places to sit and enjoy the views of the sound. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Stonington has wonderful...

I stayed here this past weekend with a girlfriend for a break from our kids and spouses. We had a wonderful time. Our luxurious room was huge, immaculate and very tastefully decorated. The bathroom was also top notch. The cozy living room and dining area were wonderfully relaxing enhanced by relaxing mood setting music and comfortable armchairs, overlooking the waterfront....

The inn is fantastic. the room was large and comfortable. The staff very nice and helpful. Continental breakfast was typical, but very good. A nice touch was free wine and cheese and crackers from 6:00 to 7:00. Walking distance to restaurants and shops as well as the harbor. If I had one complaint, it was that it would have been...

A delightful New England inn found nestled in a bay, filled with authentic fishing boats, sunsets that rival Hawaii, knowledgeable and accommodating staff, and deliciously delightful "happy hours" and morning breakfasts. Beautifully appointed in New England charm, with elegant baths and inviting fireplaces. Truly stunning.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Inn at Stonington is a Stonington Connecticut Bed & Breakfast located directly on the waterfront in the heart of Stonington Borough. Since opening, the Inn has been featured as 'Travel and Leisures' Inn of the Month and has also appeared in 'Coastal Living,''New York Times,''Boston Globe,''New York Magazine,''Boston Magazine,' and 'Delta Sky.' Untouched by commercialism, this charming village is one of the few surviving New England seaside towns that has retained much of its 17th and 18th century flavor. Classic examples of Colonial, Greek Revival and Federal architecture can be enjoyed on a stroll down any of its quiet, tree-lined streets. During your stay with us, be sure to take in "The Borough's" variety of restaurants, antique and gift shops, and galleries - all within walking distance from our beautiful Stonington Connecticut Inn. ... more   less
