I spent my long weekend here in late-April as there was a public holiday on Monday (hence the so-called long weekend :)). There was a boat from the Merang-Jetty to D’Coconut Resort-Jetty which is scheduled at 10am. Suggest to stay nearby before headed off to D’Coconut Resort Lang Tengah (Unless you prefer to drive 5hours from KL to the Jetty,...

Bad is not even close to what I have to describe about the attitude. DO NOT EVEN THINK OF STAYING THERE. If you do, be prepared to face the worst attitude, rude from the so call owner but I think he is only a service manager. He should not be a manager probably a gangster. I visited the place 1pm...

I was skeptical after reading some negative reviews but all my doubts were cleared on the very first step on the island. Besides the very clear water, I was pleasantly surprised by the bell boy service from the resort. They had a couple of their staff load a cart with all our bags and escort us to the resort. I...

The time we spent in the D'Coconut Resort in the Malaysian island Pulau Besar was amazing! The island itself is quite small and there are only three resorts there so the place is never overcrowded with tourists. The facilities are indeed basic, but perfectly enough to get some relax on the beach or by the pool. And when you are...

Stayed in D Coconut resort for 3d2n, on a family suite. When 1st entered the room, I was utterly disappointed with the condition of the room, the toilet, and the beds. The bed-sheets full of dirty stains, looked like it was not changed from the previous occupants!! Went to look for the staff and asked them to change it, they...

Terrific view accd to online websites, as well as the advertisement from Sport Club committees. Hence, I was over excited when first landed in Pulau Besar. However, da excitement was crushed when I opened the so called quad sharing chalet room. Well, the quad sharing room was actually a basic std room, which they nv actually hv a proper quad...

We booked this because all the other 2 were fully booked and we were really in need for a getaway from Singapore. Room was basic. Luckily there were no bed bugs as mentioned by other posts. No towels given to us and everything looked old. Snorkelling was contracted to another bamboo besar snorkel. We were given a time of 11am...

Its too quiet with very minimal F&B outlets and chillex place. Suitable for honeymoon couples as it is a romantic place to be at. The resort staff should have warned us about the sand fly, we came back with lots of kisses from the flies. Overall nice place to visit, comfortable rooms but for just 1 night stay.
