Causey Mansion is a beautiful B & B. Wonderful food, warm and friendly hosts. Jan gave us a detailed history of the mansion and grounds. I'm amazed at the amount of work they have done since they have just taken over in May 2014.

The B&B has truly been our baby since we took over, Jeanne. It's so rewarding to hear our hard work is paying off and that our guests are enjoying the mansion and grounds. Thanks so much for the great review! -Joey and Jan, Owners

My husband and I were lucky to win 2 nights at the Causey mansion. We decided to stay for three nights. Joe and Jan were the perfect hosts . The mansion is beautiful and the grounds were delightful. The Sussex room was great with plenty of space to relax, read and of course sleep in comfort. Each bedroom has its...

This was our second visit to Causey Mansion for our sisters' weekend. Last year was a fun visit to Milford and this year was another enjoyable visit to Milford and Causey Mansion. Joe and Jan were very personable and first-rate hosts! The breakfasts were delicious and plentiful. The banana bread was exceptional. The accommodations were comfortable allowing for a good...

We searched for a place near Cape May and located this gem in Delaware. New inn keepers Joe and Jan were wonderful hosts. They are in the process of completing many improvements to this already charming home. The antiques are wonderful and Jan's music from the grand piano was superb. Breakfast was fabulous. Our room was huge with the best...

We had a lovely weekend at Causey Mansion. The house and grounds are beautiful and the accommodations were super comfy! Joe and Jan have made an art of hospitality -- Jan played piano and Joe made a delicious breakfast for our group. The tiny town of Milford offered up hidden treasures like Gallery 37, where we found beautiful one-of-a-kind works...

Fabulous weekend with a group of girlfriends. Arrived just in time to shower and clean up after a day of tennis and the beach. Rooms were clean, well decorated, and Joe and Jan were so warm and friendly. They arranged an amazing wine tasting. Dinner at a nearby restaurant that was delicious. Next morning we had an amazing breakfast spread--ask...

My fiancee and I were VERY lucky in stumbling upon Causey Mansion on a whim, after taking a spontaneous day trip to Delaware National Seashore over Labor Day weekend. After calling no less than 30 places from Dewey to Dover looking for a reasonably-priced place to stay overnight, we hit the jackpot when Joe answered the phone and said he...

We stayed in the Country Room over Labor Day weekend and found the Causey Mansion to be a great getaway while we explored the beaches. Joe and Jan made us feel very at home with touches like a refrigerator and wine glasses for guest use, lovely screened-in porches, and a fire pit in the backyard. Our room was very clean,...

Causey Mansion is a must stay destination (not just a stop along the way). Our hosts, Joey and Jan, provided us with a relaxing and fabulous time at Causey mansion. It was like stepping back in time (without losing the modern conveniences). We were treated like a friend passing through for the night like days of old. And the mansion...
