The hotel is clean and relatively new. Access from the street isn’t terrible and it’s only about 20-25 minutes from the beach. As far as a Residence Inn though, this is a pretty sad model. The breakfast is mediocre at best. It’s not much better than the Holiday Inn express down the road. They have Jimmy Dean busker sandwiches still in their wrappers on the hot plate. It looks really amateur. Plus they’re cold in the middle. They seem to have scrambled eggs and hard boiled eggs most morning but they don’t season them. Honestly they could come out of a freezer bag they’re so bland. Then you have the over worked waffle maker and cereal station. Exactly like holiday inn express. Most Residence Inns have some kind of manager special during the week. Maybe a cheap beer, light snacks, or even ice cream. I’ve seen a wide variety. This location has nothing. They want just want to nickel and dime you to death. Everything is extra and considering it’s Delaware it’s over priced too. Personally I’d recommend skipping this location if you have a choice.

duaroger, Thank you for taking the time to express your review. Breakfast is part of the new Marriott breakfast and then some. Sorry it was not to your liking. The Manager special at night was retired over a year ago, I like it too.

There are so many plusses it would take awhile but here goes... Great location two blocks from coastal hughway. Great staff especially front desk manager Danielle who made us feel so special. Concentration on cleanliness always mopping vacuuming cleaning tables. Breakfast buffet was superb..great selection..even had hard boiled eggs and tomato juice. Parking easy..got ada spot right at the front door. Beautiful pool patio area and grill for guests. They had a million teens for baseball tournament yet no excessive noise or nonsense. They have a lobby bar. Each room is a suite with 50 inch lg swivel t.v. Complete kitchen. ADA bathroom was perfect. To really get the drift check out my pics. One caveat...the beds are very high. Don't fall off. Prices were high but take it from this gold elite member..you get what you pay for. We will be back but next time Rosie pays lol

The housekeeping at this hotel is disappointing. For this to be a newer hotel less than two years old, the condition of the bathrooms are appalling. The bathroom walls are dirty and the toilets have brown stains. It's clear that the rooms are not cleaned thoroughly. The front desk staff were helpful and accommodated our needs. I would not stay at a Residence Inn again as I'm concerned that the service received here would be the norm for this type of hotel accommodation.

This Residence Inn is brand new with lovely room design and is conveniently located off route 1. The bed was very comfortable, the shower and bathroom were large and clean, and the room had nice touches, such as a vanity dressing area, and many lighting options. The staff was extremely friendly as well. I would highly recommend this hotel for your next visit to Rehoboth Beach.

About two miles from beach just off of a busy highway. Plenty of shopping (Tanger Outlets) close by. Very convenient, plenty of parking, standard Residence Inn breakfast. If I come back next year again for the marathon I will more than likely stay here. Stayed in a studio which was a little tight for two people. If my wife had been with me it would have been fine, but the lack of sepearation from the bedroom to the living room made it close quarters for my cousin and I.

Residence inn are usually attend it for long stays however with the lack of housekeeping services I would only recommend staying for two days. After a week stay at this establishment I requested housekeeping services I was scheduled for services at noon. Upon returning from my business meeting at 2 PM no services rendered at that time. Immediately contacted the front desk within 15 minutes housecleaning was at the door and proceeded not to adhere to any cleaning protocols. Upon my return the room was not vacuumed or wiped down and the bed looked as if someone was still sleeping in it. As long time Marriott customer and platinum member I received better services and other Marriott locations. So disappointing!

Response from Jerry Bellistri, General Manager at Residence Inn by Marriott Rehoboth Beach
Responded 24 Aug 2022
rjnathaniel, I believe we spoke late the afternoon in question and we did apologize for the sub-par housekeeping service. As promised it has been the subject matter of our daily standup meeting in the mornings. We also uncovered a logistical issue with arranging housekeeping for guest that stay more than 3 days. That has since been rectified. I want to thank you for staying with us and appreciate your loyalty to the Brand and hope see you again soon.

This is an excellent property. Appears to be brand new. Rooms are large and clean. What sets this property apart is the gym, pool and fire pit set-up. By far one of the best amenity offerings in Rehoboth. The bar is a very cool perk as well. I did have an issue getting late checkout, supposedly guaranteed by my Bonvoy status, but that was a minor issue. This appears to be a systemic problem across the Marriott brand. This is my favorite hotel in Rehoboth. Highly recommend.

My boyfriend and I loved this hotel! We had a king studio on the 4th floor. It was super cute! The stove top and little kitchen was great. We loved the room set up. The pool was small but it was never crowded. We met some nice people of all ages at the pool and the firepit. The hotel is centrally located so we were near every restaurant, outlet, Wal-Mart and close to the beach. We are in a long distance relationship and this was a great middle point from Philly & DC.

Residence Inn may have been intended for long stays, but it serves well as a premium midscale overnight offering. We stayed here in the middle of a fairly extensive B&B trip because we knew it would have amenities that were missing from many of the super-cute but homey B&B's: Ice machines, extra towels, a spacious room, 24 hour front desk and, at last... an elevator. We didn't use the full kitchen, but it was a nice addition anyway and gave the room an "apartment feel." This property is a good example of what you can depend on from this brand. It's not the best Residence Inn we've encountered (Middletown, NY, of all places, is one of the best): the location leaves a good deal to be desired -- an easy drive to the parking nightmares of the beach towns and an easy walk to... one pretty ordinary bar/restaurant. Rates are pretty much what you'd expect, but you can get closer to the action for not much more. It would only take only take a small slice of the yearly budget to put ice machines on the 2nd and 3rd floor. Please don't even think the "oh, you have an ice maker in your refrigerator" line--- our ice maker didn't work, but even if it did it would have made enough ice in a day to -- maybe-- chill a round or two of cocktails at night. A six pack of beer? Fahgetaboutit. Bottom line: As a corporate midscale hotel: four stars (above average). As a Residence Inn: three stars (average for the brand).

The room was great...appreciated the extra space even though there were only two of us! The staff was very attentive { it was mid- week] and everything was clean. Great restaurants within walking distance.
