We are not new to Rehoboth. This is the first time we have stayed at The Avenue. We are so glad did. Our room and common areas, including the pool area were neat and clean. The entire staff was friendly an efficient. Lew the beach shuttle driver was the best. We sang oldies to an from the beach everyday.
All staff at The Avenue provide quality customer service treating you like family. Amenities to include indoor pool, beach towels and chairs, shuttle transportation to the beach are always what makes The Avenue unique. Our family enjoyed Happy Hour, fabulous full service breakfast, game and gathering room and clean, well-appointed rooms.
Staff is friendly and rooms are very clean. Location is great. Quick walk to beach and restaurants. Hotel is very accommodating. They provide beach chairs and transportation to beach. Breakfast is a nice touch as well as evening wine and cheese.
This was the second time we’ve stayed at The Avenue. We enjoyed both visits. The rooms are very comfortable, the breakfasts were outstanding. The wine and cheese from 5-6 each night, and cookies and milk at 8 are a nice touch. The Avenue is close to the boardwalk and shops. They provide a shuttle to the beach and chairs and beach towels. Overall, a great experience.
I had a wonderful stay and the staff was very accommodating for my late check-in. I will be staying at the Avenue Inn & Spa in the future. I only stayed one night but their spa and indoor heated pool looked very nice too!
Treated some dear friends to a long weekend to celebrate their anniversary. The Avenue will be my go-to every time I visit Rehoboth from now on. I can't think of any aspect of the trip that could have been improved on. From champagne and chocolates in their room to celebrate their anniversary, to Lew who makes the golf cart ride to the beach an adventure, to a great breakfast, wine and cheese in the afternoon and chocolate chip cookies and milk before bed. What more could you ask for.
September has been the best time ever to visit Rehoboth Beach, especially at the Avenue Inn. It is close to the beach, backs to the main street and has underground parking. Staff, especially the ladies that prepare the rooms and clean the lobby are the best - always smiling and helpful. Reception staff make check-in and check-out smooth and effortless. I always prefer to stay here so I have to plan ahead and reserve our room as soon as possible as this hotel fills up very quickly, any time of the year.
Add this to another great stay at the Avenue Inn....We stayed facing Rehoboth Ave. The room was just right. Very clean and the staff was always pleasant and helpful....Stay here and you won't regret it.
The staff were very nice. However, I was expecting it to be more updated and cleaner. We unfortunately had a room without a view as it was the last available room. We were in town for a wedding. The bed was very uncomfortable. The pillows were flat and misshapen. The carpet in the room was dirty and the bathroom needed a major update. The location is great for the beach, they do have a service to take you to the beach which is nice. We paid almost $500 for a one night stay and it should have been less with the condition of the rooms.
Very clean hotel with lots of amenities--complementary wine and cheese at 5PM, freshly baked chocolate chip cookies at 8PM and buffet breakfast, Also free transportation to/from the beach/boardwalk. My only complaint would be poor lighting for reading. A true gem.
