The State of Florida has some nerve charging full freight to get into this dump post Irma. The reason to go here, the beaches on the ocean side, are gone. GONE and I do mean not there any more, at all. The concession stand is...More

We really enjoyed Bahia Honda! The snorkeling was fun and beautiful. It is a must stop while visiting the Keys. Although we where not camping, we checked them out for the future and loved the spots. The park was well maintained.

It is a long walk in the hot weather. I would suggest driving. We drove to the beach from buttonwood area because of all of our chairs, sun shelter, etc.

Site 47 is a decent site. It is located in the Buttonwood camping area. An easy walk to the boat ramp, store and beach as well as sunset wall. The showers in this area are large with several stalls. There is also an... More

It is hot but the water is there to cool off in. As far as the tent there are battery operated fans you can buy to put in the tent. Its beautiful and very worth a visit!!
