Room very spacious, with upper loft room with queen bed & futon, lower BR with queen bed also. Full fridge, 2 burner cooktop, nice breakfast area. Fun activities, nice pool, evening fire waterside. Also is RV park. Helpful, friendly staff. Store is great, and free coffee each morning. Good location in Keys, convenient to lower keys.

Camped for a month. What a great spot. Very well managed. Kind of tough to get in for an extended stay but well worth it. Great bunch of "regulars" who spend the season. Made many new friends. Can't say anything negative about this campground. Beautiful pool. Clean bathrooms. What else do you need. Wish the WiFi had some vitamins. This...

We have visited BPKL many times. This place is incredible, family owned and operated more than 50 years. Customer service top drawer, store affordable, boats, kayaks, etc 4 rent. Heated outdoor pool! Snowbird ladies provide water aerobics daily. What more can I add. Here's hubby Mel = great place to meet new friends from all parts of the country including...

We just finished a week camping at Big Pine Key Fishing Lodge and had a great time. The facility has friendly staff and equally friendly fellow campers. The price is reasonable, unlike most other campgrounds in the Keys. The restrooms and campground is clean, hot water plentiful, a lovely pool and fun activities planned continuously. The only negative we experienced...

I camped here for two weeks and it was wonderful. I had a site 15 feet from the water, so the sunrises were phenomenal. You could hear and see the shrimpers out on the water at night. The key deer wandered through the campsite in the evening. The other campers were pretty long term and they were friendly but respectful...

A last minute choice turned out to be just the right one for us. Wonderful retro feeling in the lodges, where everything was however nice and clean. The outdoor picnic table right next to the canal and boats was wonderful as a breakfast area. Nice pool, serene surroundings. A very good value for your money and a superb spot to...

My wife and I were just looking for a room for the night before heading on down to Key West. This fit the bill, but given it was part of a campground and the price our expectations weren't overly high. But we trusted TripAdvisor and were not let down. It surprised to the upside in so many ways. So much...

The location is very good. It's just a 30 minutes drive range from islaramada to key west. Key deer are everywhere in the campground. The tent site is very big and every site has tree shades. The whole campground is like a very harmony and friendly community. Wifi is good at some sites but also bad at some sites. The...

Beautiful, interesting, and the snorkeling was great. The fort is magnificent and the surroundings are breathtaking. We took the Yankee Feedom to the national park. It took 2.5 hours there and back but the crew was very helpful and entertaining. Over-all a great family experience

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Big Pine Key Fishing Lodge (BPKFL) occupies ten pristine acres between the Gulf of Mexico and the Atlantic Ocean. Perfectly positioned in the Middle Keys at MM33, the BPKFL offers a friendly home-base from which to enjoy all the Florida Keys has to offer. The BPKFL has several lodging options to choose from including efficiencies, motel rooms, rustic campsites, electric/water RV sites and even waterfront sites. With a boat ramp and canals, you can put your boat in the water (and leave it in the water) during your stay. This idea of "boat-side" camping gives you the freedom to jump in your boat and go when the mood strikes. Our camp store is stocked with everything you need to be comfortable at camp and out on the water. This includes food, beverages and snacks plus fishing and marine supplies like marine gas, bait and basic water sports equipment. We are one of the few campgrounds in the area where you can come with an empty cooler and get everything you need right on property. Recreation is a big part of life in the Keys and at the BPKFL we have the facilities to help you make the most of your vacation. Play ping-pong, take a long walk on the beach or just relax under a palm tree; do as much or as little as you care to do. From our roof top pool to our calendar of parties and planned activities, BPKFL has something for visitors of all ages. If you need anything at all, please call our office and a member of the Big Pine Key Fishing Lodge will return your call within 24 hours.
