Due to a foul up in my villa booking I was forced to find alternative accommodation for the last two days of my annual Florida holiday. I wanted to be based in Boca Grande as it is close to my favourite beach at the State Park, so found the Anchor Inn. I took unit one, which appeals straight away as...

Travel writers can't help themselves when describing Boca Grande. It's "posh." It's "ritzy." It's "quaint." Amid all the cliches you'll find the inevitable references to the Bush clan, the celebrities and, of course, the Du Ponts, their kin and their newly-blueblooded ken, all (or so they tell us) gathered at The Temp to jovially rub shoulders with Boca Grande's rough...

This is our second year here. We had to reschedule due to a tropical storm and they accommodated us. This year's room was even better than last year's. We had a living room/kitchen and bedroom/bathroorm. This is a small non-chain inn.

This is like a bed and breakfast, without the breakfast, but don't worry the coffee shop is around the corner. the rooms are like little apartments with a small kitchen...Which is extremely important during summer months...Boca Grande closes in summer time, so pretty much all the action you see in winter months, disappear in summer. so much likely you will...

We had a great stay at this little place for a long weekend. We stayed in room 2....I do not know if I would call it an "inn" Our room was a full efficiency....coffee pot, stove, fridge/freezer and full dishes. It was very clean, quiet and a perfect location in town. I never heard a peep out of other guest...

Our family loved this hotel. It was very clean and quaint. Nice little private pool. We felt at home. The owners were pleasant. Nice location right in the downtown. Nice parking. Beach a few blocks away. Highly recommend. We stayed in units 1 & 2.

We stayed at unit 4 in the Anchor Inn with another couple. The building is actually privately owned, has 4 condo-type units. Our condo had 2 bedrooms, 1-1/2 baths, kitchen, living room, front and back porches. A heated swimming pool is available for all the condos. Beach chairs and towels are available as well. The condo was very clean and...

I booked two nights at the Anchor inn with a girlfriend for a "girls" retreat. The booking was easy and the price was appropriate although they singled out paying an extra fee for "cleaning charge." Ok, most places just include that in the price. There are strict rules about empty the trash, put the dishwasher on etc.--are they going to...

We stayed for 2nights as part of a boating club visit to Boca Grande. In the past we always stayed at the Gasparilla inn but they could only guarantee twin beds at half again as much as the Anchor Inn. We stayed in unit 2 and it was delightful! The kitchenette was a great plus and the room was very...
