This property sits at the end of the street in a regular neighbourhood so do believe your navigation when it takes you there. A hidden gem off the beaten path will greet you with a cute salt box house and lots of greenery. The owners are nice and sweet. Make you feel right at home. We stayed at a bungalow...

We are repeat customers to Behind The Fence. This little B&B is unique and hidden from the bustle of the city. The "cabins" take you back to another era. They are always clean and comfortable. The main house where breakfast is served is even more captivating! The Yoss family has spent years collecting furniture & other items that you would...

Me and my husband live in Brandon Florida, but thought what the hey we will stay in town, and boy was it a treat. It was like stepping back in time. Everything felt so old and rustic. The pool was beautiful, breakfast was nice, and both Inn keepers, were so nice. We talked for hours, and they even gave us...

My husband and I love Behind the Fence! This time we stayed in the Red Shutter Room (cabin). It was a wonderful romantic weekend! The inn keepers Carolyn & Larry are delightful, they made us feel right at home! The lagoon style pool is divine especially under the stars. If you're a history buff you'll love this place! Just remember...

Hi, We were stunned at your dissatisfaction with your stay as the only communication we had with you was your request that we adjust the temperature in the room which we did immediately and you seemed pleased. Since that has never been a problem before we now have a lock on the thermostat so that both rooms remain comfortable. Thanks...

Stayed here as it is the closest B&B to Apollo Beach. It is a quaint New England saltbox in neo-tropical Florida filled with filled antiques. Proprietors are delightful; however, the proprietress hovers over you telling stories as you eat your dry cereal breakfast with toast. The highly totted cinnamon rolls are a 1/4 quarter roll warmed in a microwave. Interestingly...

Hello, We were surprised that you were not pleased with your stay at our B&B. I try to explain that we are very rustic and definitely not for everyone. In fact most of our guests are either antique dealers or history buffs and we have been in several national magazines for our authentic 1700's decor. As you mentioned in your...

Traditions drive cultures, and this wonderful Amish family makes sure that they give me plenty of that....The hard work and the love they put on this property is indescribable....If you are looking for a "museum" type experience and want to review your family values, you should stay with Carolyn....A tourist/family attraction no Social Studies Lesson can't beat!!! Located in a quiet residential area, Inn Behind the Fence was a delightful find! Charming early American home filled with antiques offers a respite from the tourist bustle of Tampa. A hint at what's in store for your visit: while we were there, a magazine photographer did a photo shoot for the upcoming issues of two national magazines! Our en...

We had to make last-minute plans to the Tampa area for a funeral. Rather than stay in a forgettable hotel, I called Behind the Fence and hoped they had availability. Carolyn's hospitality carried through the phone line and I knew we had made a right choice. Arriving at the property we noticed all the fun details that made you feel...
