We brought our catch to the Cook at the lodge and he prepared us a feast, food was tremendous, the service was outstanding and we had a great time. Highly recommended. The cabins were comfortable and warm. Location is easy to get to with ample parking.

We've been going to Kec's for years (I think 15/16 years)! The owners are the best people you'll ever meet. The food is outstanding. The bar, hot tub, restaurant & cabins are always clean & welcoming! They have wonderful staff - including dock employees who help you to dock your boat & get you ready to leave. They also clean your fish & deliver them to your cabin in marked bags! Bait, ice & gas is also on hand & delivered by the staff. The owners have taken us on many journeys & are always happy to direct you where to go out on the lake. The owner even helped us to get a new prop when ours was damaged. The cabins & kitchens are fully furnished & stocked. You can bring your own food or hit the restaurant! They have a swing set, bonfire pit & plenty of recreational activities (canoes, boat rentals, paddle boat)! Definitely a family trip we'll continue taking with our kids!

I took my dad here for a fishing trip.I called several resorts in the area with some initial questions. Larry was the only one who returned my call within a reasonable amount of time.He hooked us up with a guide for the first day, and the next three days we rented a boat from Kecs Kove..A complete boat, with trolling motor and fish finder.Bait too was available. The cabin we rented was clean, and comfortable. What blew me away was, the bend over backwards level of service afforded to every guest. We constantly observed the owners checking on their guest to see if there was anything they could do for them.We stayed here from 9/22 till 9/26, 2013.For us there is no need to look elsewhere,we will be back next fall. One final thought, they will even clean and cook your catch to order.

For the first time our family decided to rent a cabin for July 4th. We choose Kec's Kove because it was what we could afford. We had a large group of 11 (which included 3 small children). When reviewng pricing we decided on cabin 7, which I understood to be off from the other cabins to some extent and close to a childrens play area. The cabin was wedged between two other cabins, there was no swimming area, and the child play area was a very old swin set made of wood with two swings and a baby swing. The real issue though was that we thought we were getting a cabin for $1175 - when we went to check out the bill was $2225. They had added a fee of $500 for extra people. However, no were of their website did it state that there would be an extra fee for additional people, in addition we emailed and called, talking to the owners letting them know there would be additional people and never did they mention an additional fee. Also beware that they will charge you for anything you use there. i.e. we were charged for 27 bags of ice when we were only there for 6 days. We were so upset about the whole vacation that we left a day early. We will not be back

We just wrapped up our 3rd deer season at Kec's Cove and have nothing but good things to say about the resort and the owners. Our group outgrew our tiny deer camp. Kec's Cove is nearby so we moved "camp" here. The cabins are very clean and warm, two positive attributes in November. The appliances are nearly new and in good working order. Larry the co-owner asked if we'd want to use the wood stove in which case he would bring over a load of wood. Larry and his wife are both friendly and helpful. Leaving in 2011, I noticed one of my car's tires was low on air. Larry told me to drive to the machine shop in back, started his air compressor and even inflated the tire himself.
